Do brawlers lose there innate block chance when disarmed?

    No, it is built into our stance. But also we lose it if we arent in defensive stance.

    So.. brawlers don't and plates do... gonna probably roll a brawler.

    Nope..not with these new HM raid mechaincs you don't.
    Whenever you avoid an attack your hit with a damage proc that dosen't trigger off reactives or wards, and it's hits for like 20k~ A good string of avoids and *splat* your dead without a druid.
    This effect also applies to anyone who puts their avoidance on you~ So clerics, other tanks~ When they avoid you, they risk dying.
    I should know~ I'm a cleric and spent a good raid night dying to this.
    So in summary..blocking = bad...very bad.

    Immune to strike through and disarm doesn't take away brawler's uncontested avoidance?
