Discrepancy ~ Overseer Pack Claims (shortly after BoL launch and now)

    Hi there,

    I understand that there was a problem with duplicate agents when unpacking the overseer pack crates and the need to make adjustments. I have also searched for something similar to what I'm experiencing now, before posting.

    So shortly after BoL launch, on one character I have claimed both (details of the crates and contents follow at the end of this post):

    • Blood of Luclin: Collector's Overseer Pack { \aITEM -1847129888 -129816279 0 0 0:[Blood of Luclin: Collector's Overseer Pack]\/a }
    • Blood of Luclin: Premium Overseer Pack { \aITEM -85376092 -629031676 0 0 0:[Blood of Luclin: Premium Overseer Pack]\/a }

    Unpacking all the different crates shortly after BoL launch, I was able to add all of the unique agents (listed at the bottom) to the agent collection.

    However tonight, in the process of starting the Erollisi Day Overseer quests on another character, I claimed both the aforementioned crates and unpacked them to give me 6 (six) sub-crates. However unpacking a sub-crate, I'm now given the option to choose only 1 (one) ("Select one of the following:") from a sub-crate?

    So instead of the 18 (eighteen) unique agents from claiming shortly after BoL launch, I can get max 6 (six) unique agents now, to add to the agent collection? This entails that all characters which haven't claimed both those main-crates back in December OR any newly created character for that matter will be stuck with a max of 6 (six) unique agents only? Would this then also be the case for people who only bought the Standard Edition and later wanting to upgrade to either the Collector's OR Premium OR Family & Friends Edition?

    If the option when unpacking a sub-crate was a multi-selection option ("Select your agents from below:"), then sure, one would be able to select those agents which you already don't have.

    So where to now? From what I've read, logging a ticket with support only refers you to create a thread here, as they aren't touching BoL related issues? Does anyone know if this has changed, i.e. we can now log tickets for BoL related issues?

    Kind regards,
    K

    Getting everything was an unintended bug. The way it works now is how it is supposed to operate.

    I handled this by having my alts unpack different agents and passed them to my main.

    Thanks. I've checked for this in all the updates since BoL launch and wasn't able to find anything about whether this was an unintended bug or whatnot, so there wasn't anything official stating this, hence this thread.

    Yes, one could selectively claim agents from the sub-crates and pass it on to other characters, as you have done, to have the full set on another character. This works well if you are only playing a few characters, with regards to the Overseer feature.

    However.....now, take for example the Erollisi Day Overseer mini-quest line (and possible future additions of an overseer mini-quest line on the other live events etc.). If you have multiple characters on which you want to do these mini-quest lines, some characters will be at a disadvantage for not having agents with the necessary traits, cause they were given to other characters versus not being disadvantaged by having that agent available with the necessary trait just because you claimed the Overseer packs on Day 0 (or shortly after launch), before this was changed.

    As an example, I think (I would have to start a new cycle to confirm) on the fourth quest "Thralg's Blessed Cologne", if you had the agent "Velun Punox" you would get an additional bonus chance for using the agent.... and so forth and so forth.

    You can always make new characters, claim the crates, pass the overseers. Then delete, the new character, rinse and repeat.
    Breanna and Argosunited like this.
