As title mentions, I jumped to my death and gear still took damage. A bit more details, I was at 100% on gear, I knew I was going to die (on purpose) so I unequipped everything (including the food ) . Revived, re-equipped my gear, went on to complete quest and then called to gh. My gear was at 90%. It's not an issue per se, it did make me wonder if it has always been that way?
It has not ALWAYS been that way, but it has been that way for many, many years. Any gear you have worn in some period of time will take damage, even if unequipped. This was in response to people deliberately stripping before they died to try to avoid the armor damage.
Well then ... I won't be spending my time stripping if I know I'm going to die. Thank you I never really took note until today when got back to gh and had the mender icon on character sheet
