I keep hearing so many different answers on this, looking for something definitive. Some say yes they've killed him and received their updates. Others say they've killed him and haven't. Others say it was changed so that he no longer gives the update. I've tried running a search and can't find anything specific. Please help. Pouncer
From what I understand, ANY raid version of Mayong will provide the Mythical update. Those include the contested Mayong in Castle Mistmoore, the Mayong found in TNT, and the one in Inner Sanctum. Personally, I have only seen the update given from Inner Sanctum and TNT, but many sites, including EQ2i, report that the contested version found in the Castle will also provide the update.
Okay thanks. I never got to try contested Mayong, I got my son his update in MMIS instead. Just out of curiosity, if anyone has recently (since TSO) gotten an update from contested Mayong please let me know. If anyone on AB wants to try I have a toon parked in his chamber in CMM. Pouncer
