[Conjuror spell] Aqueous Swarm XI (lvl 129) improper scaling

As is customary just about every expansion, summoner dumbfire pets miss their proper scaling from previous tier to current tier. This time I bothered comparing Aqueous Swarm X vs Aqueous Swarm XI. The regular previousLevel-to-currentLevel buff to a damage spell is 20% (both at Ancient), unless explicitly tweaked via patch notes. For example, Consuming Inferno 2 (Ancient) => Consuming Inferno 3 (Ancient) = +20%. Same for all other dmg abilities in game, except explicitly adjusted ones with the "class tune up" each expansion.

Enter dumbfire pets: each expansion this 20% scaling gets missed for them, and is for some unknown reason 5%. Most likely because the damage is not directly listed on the spell, so the automated upgrade process gets chocked on it and slaps a 5% default or something. Specifically, Aqueous Swarm X (Ancient) => Aqueous Swarm XI (Ancient) = +5%.

I bother testing something every expansion with same sad results, and just tiring to post about it. Here's one from few years ago.

edit: got some (valid) questions in messages about testing methods, etc.
    - no procs that change stats in combat (fervor is capped to prevent prestige AA mattering)
    - on test start, cast a different dmg spell first to trigger in-combat CB/pot increase
    - 20 casts of investigated spell per test on dummy
    - copy ACT rows to excell, cull crits => min/avg/max all follow same %increase
Leetch, Bakual and Azeren like this.
