Community feedback on old forum image archive

I guess the G and the D for Great Divide is a censored letter combo lol And EW was for Eastern Wastes. This event was back in the 'Velious Days', but I thought there were rumors of another Druid Ring Event possibly for one of the new zones. Maybe we'll see them come back then on the same type of merchant.

There's a red version of that same tree that is available via collection quest, although it's probablly not what you want in a water feature Not to mention the collection is a higher tier instance and pieces to buy are really expensive still : / Enraged Forgotten Pools Sproutling

There's the Grimberry Bush that's sort of pretty and has a bit of a glistening look to it. I think it's a quest or collection item - I usually buy them from broker, but really depends how many are listed as to price.
There's also the Ykeshan Shrubbery that's crafted. Although it doesn't have the same shiny effect, it does have the blue and greenish colors to it and is wispy.

LOL! Teach me to check this out after I log out of Splitpaw...very cool. I'll look up the Ykeshan Shrubbery; might be my best bet. I did find a single Calm Forgotten Pools Sproutling on Splitpaw; for a mere 120 pp (or about 20x what my combined character wealth on Splitpaw is worth). :-/

Whoof...just checked out the grimberry bush on EQ2Furniture...says it's "plundered from The Ruins of Guk: Halls of the Fallen." It is Treasured, so it could be brokered, I guess, but I can imagine not a lot would want to part with it. :-/

Hey, speaking of the good ol' stuff, does anyone remember that one designer on the German server (Valor) who used to make like WHOLE VILLAGES when she'd break out into Kelethin and other locales? There was a reproduction that was done of a Stone Age German lake village that was absolutely spectacular. I think I might have some images I lifted from the entry; for awhile there, I was sooo tempted to jump on Valor just to visit such places in person.

I'd love to see those again!

Speaking of old-fashioned water effects...the Fountain of Storms reward looks cool, and I'm not sure how big it can get, but I want one...I hear, however, that it's a reward from the Qeynos city timeline quest, "Ironforged Requests". It doesn't look too difficult, but Zam says it's a level 60 quest, and Wiki says it's 40. The latter would be sooo much easier to get to; it isn't big boy Uwk here that needs the item. :-/

You can sell the quest reward, so have you looked on the broker for one?

hey Afista, are you still going to upload the pics I linked you on the old forum? just asking because I notist they changed the old forum but kept the posts in place. but it turns out a few of the pictures on the posts went blank tho. I hope you got them in time.

Yup, I still have a ton of places saved. I've been uploading just a couple a week now and trying to catch some of the new stuff here and there too Still working on adding entire house albums, then breaking it down for more room pics for the other seaches.

Just checked out the one thing I found of hers (?) so far, the "Kelethin pool party"! Very cool, brings back memories. But there was another thing she did in a Kelethin setting, based on like a few photos (!) she saw of an archaeological dig on a Stone Age lake village site, and artists' reconstructions of what it might've looked like...that was amazing. Got many ideas from the relatively simple stuff used.
