Get closer to investigate' but it never updated. The zone also has a lockout and I could not get the update until the timer expired. Other guild-mates indicate it worked for them but didn't for us.

This happened to us too. Daughter got the update and i didn't. Fortunately i had a lockout reset timer thing and went back in and it worked solo for me.
