I was looking on my old Maj'Dul characters and notice none of them have their carpet. I did the quest. I went to the NPC that gives the quest and he doesn't have it anymore and just thanks me for my help. The carpets are not in their inventory or bank or mount window. The only mount i could find was the spirit steed whistle on my Coercer which isn't tradable and whom I plan to delete. I had not played these characters in many years and while I was away, my account was broken into and all my plat stolen. So I'm wondering if the carpets were vendored , though I wouldn't think they would be sellable. I can't really check as they have already done the quest. Anyway is there any way to find these things or reset the quest to get another?
Try visiting the Shady Swashbuckler on the docks of Nektulos Forest. He sells a lot of one-of-a-kind quest items (mostly heritage quest rewards) to anyone who originally completed the corresponding quest. I'm not sure off-hand, but I think the Maj'Dul carpet quest reward is there too.
