Can't Put Down

I can't place stuff. I can't place stuff in my guild hall nor my house. I choose something and try to place it and it is green but won't sit. I am stuck. Escape doesn't work. I can't click anywhere (except the x to exit!) I just stand there waving green stuff around until I give up and exit. No messages either - like lore or whatever.

It's just ever so frustrating and I can't figure what I hosed in settings to have this happen.

Try defaulting them and see if that fixes it? I'd recommend saving a copy first.
