Can't log into EQ2 ....

Dharg1970...It translated just fine. I don't think it is just the German servers, though.

I play on a US Server (Mein deutsch ist nicht so gut!) and I just am using the telekom DSL. For a rare change...I think it is our internet service from here failing somehow.
Let me see if I can butcher this out in German. I'm sorry, but mine is mostly medical and conversational.

Sony, T-Online and what has since done so with Eq2, it seems to be a problem somewhere. This is only one of which I am aware that it can not lie on my computer!

Please Sony, fix the login-problem with eq2.

What I don't get is why I can log in fine with any toon on noob island but with none located in the guildhall?

i can be wrong but i don't think its the i-net providers fault, i can zone without problems in norrath,
only cities (Freeport, Gorowyn in my case) and guildhalls - houses are no go !

Hey Dexilie, I'm on Mistmoore as well and up in north Germany. Same problem. Sometimes I can get one char in, but zoning anywhere with her is a no go. She's stuck in the GH. Not much double xp there

Hm, I can log on with one char from each of my accounts, but only in the guild hall. Not really a whole lot to do in there. Cannot zone, or I get screen select dumped. Sad but hey at least the sun is shining so I might just go work on my tan

Seems that everyone who gets routed via the DE/US interconnection from the Level3 backbone over Washington into the sonyonline.net network has login problems (at least Innovation and Permafrost). Everyone being routed to another place ((over Washington to) San Diego for at least Unrest) or routed via another interconnection (like the Limelight Networks UK/US interconnection) has no problems.
So this it obviously not a T-Com problem, and is not related to the internet backbone/routing. Connectivity on the path is fine until someone tries to access servers that sit behind the Level3/sonyonline.net connection at Washington.

It seems that there a limited connection to the zones so that who is first he can join the zone. This because it is not umpossible to connect after you try it for 3 to 10 times and when you are logged in the ping is normal.

Have to correct myself...it's not about the Guildhalls, Characters simply get stuck while zoning, no matter which zone, sometimes you'll get a lucky login, but in some cases the game even states that the servers are overloaded or that a connection to the server couldn't be established.

update on the situation ?
