Says Patching then get error unable to write to exception-unable to open file. The file may be in use or you may be lacking necessary permissions to install. I have never had a problem getting into the game in over 13 years. And I'm old so dont get technical! Thanks
Disregard. Too fast to post instead of restarting everything on computer and validating game files--back in game.
It seems like the game was running patching. Try to reboot laptop/PC and run the game once again. If you still get error during patching try to run the game "as administrator" (right-click with your mouse on the game icon and select "run as administrator")
