Can I opt for a different faction on the island?

    I just returned and im playing a character I never got off the newbie island. It looks like I've chosen qeynos, but id like to choose freeport instead. Am I locked into qeynos now?
    if so, does eq2 still do faction swapping with the questline it used to have?
    *edit* so i found a coin i can faction change with on the live servers, but on progression there is none. is there a betrayal quest on the progression servers?

    After you leave the starter island and get to lvl 10, your toon can betray.
    Or, you can start a new toon and start with Freeport.

    If you haven't left the Island, delete it and start over.

    PSA: Freeport reeks of trolls and ogres... Have good footwear to get past the slime.
