We are planning an award ceremony and will announce the winners shortly after. Can everyone make it around 2 pm Pacific time at our guild hall in Freeport? it is a tier 2 guild hall.

It is official. If any of the winners don't make it there, don't worry. we will mail you your prizes.

If each winner will please post a screenshot or two here that would be awesome. and on facebook too if you would. also i would love it if each person who entered would post screenshots of their entrance houses. I was so glad not to be judging. I toured them all and must say i wanted to give first place to each house i visited. i was very impressed by different parts of each place.

I apologize to all. I was stuck at work until 5:30. Then the hour drive home. Sigh I didn't make it in time for the ceremony. I just signed in to the game and was excited to see that mail icon. Yay. I won something! awesome. Thanks so much guys and I am glad people have enjoyed my homes!!

Not to worry- real life comes first. I am out taking pictures of the winning houses now and will post them soon.

kk i took only a very few pictures of the winning houses.hmm- i don't see my announcement on here that i made earlier on the winning houses. So i will simply have to repeat it. I only took a few pics of each house. They totaled 24 so i will put half on this one and half on the next post

The awards ceremony was so much fun and Saphiredreams surprised me with a lovely flower arrangement in my office. Thank you Saphiredreams for all of your hard work on this contest.

Our judges did the most awesome job. We appreciate them.

Thank you everyone for coming out and for joining us in celebrating our second anniversary

These pics are meant as teasers. to really see what we saw in these houses i would suggest you go tour them and all of the others that were entered. to us, all 24 houses were winners - just wish we could have chosen all of them.

Congratulations to all of you...it really was not an easy task judging these entries. I was actually glad it was done with a points assigned process, because if I had to choose one or more specific houses as a winner, I don't think I could have done it, lol.

Using the 5 point judging system to assign 1-5 points to each specific area being judged, I think really did make the job a lot easier. I was able to judge each of these houses individually, rather than finding it necessary to choose a favorite from among all the houses entered for each of these area's being judged. Needless to say, just because one house had less points than another, did not make that house any less pleasurable to tour than the others.

One of my favorite houses to tour in this contest did not score as high as some of the others (from my scores...I have no idea how the other judges scored any of the houses), only because, while I absolutely loved the house, I didn't feel the decorator had achieved the necessary requirements to excel in some of the areas being judged. Another of this same decorator's homes entered in this contest, however, scored very highly as that decorator had done an excellent job meeting and exceeding my expectations for the area's being judged.

There was a lot of talent exhibited by the decorators in all of these homes, and as Suka put it so eloquently, you are all winners, even if you didn't win a prize. I simply don't think that just because your home didn't score as well as others, that makes your home any less beautiful or awesome...there are many categories in which these homes could have been judged that were not part of the criteria, and had those other categories been a part of this competition, who is to say if your home would have received a better score.

All in all, I don't think a more fair system of judging could have been utilized. :)
