I have an Imbued Xegonite Vanguard Cuirass (blue text MC) which Salvage lets me click on. I also have a couple pieces of Forged Cobalt Vanguard armor (gold/brown text MC Legendary tag), that Salvage will not let me click (red pointer). I suspect these are the original/older MC armor pieces that were not updated to allow for salvaging. As an addendum to this, you also can't salvage the gear you get from Frostfell that is Legendary.
The old MC armor should be salvagable. We found the bug that was preventing it from being salvaged and it will be fixed as soon as possible. Let us know if there's anything else you cannot salvage. Frostfell gear will need to be reviewed to see if it's okay to allow salvaging. We will take a look into this.
