In Nek3, trying to do the level 70 quest, "Cleaning Melanie's Room", Melanie offers me the toybox quest but then immediately gives me the reward without letting me play the game of putting dolls away, and she DOESN'T give me the toybox key. I realize this is older content, but it's aggravating because this is the only place to get the Apron of the Artificer, which a bunch of my crafters would like to have. (1) Mentor to 75 (if needed). (2) Enter Nektropos Castle: Tribulation. (3) Kill everything along the way to Melanie's Room (/loc -49.08, 13.50, -79.20) (4) Hail Melanie Everling and receive the level 70 quest, "Cleaning Melanie's Room". (5) The red book of a finished quest appears over Melanie's head immediately. (6) Hail Melanie again. "Cleaning Melanie's Room", completes without allowing me to play the game with the dolls, and I do not receive a key to the toy chest.
