There is nothing to test yet in Beta so I crunched some numbers to figure out what the real world value these percentages would translate into if applied to the individual CAs from my most recent zonewide.

For example Devastation Fist gave 2.331 Billion DPS to the zone wide then if that CA was boosted by 213% then it would give 4.965 Billion DPS. That would yeild a Delta change of 2.634B between the old value and the new value.

Methodology: I did the same thing to all the CAs and applied the percentage increases to get the calculated new DPS numbers and their respective Deltas. (Note that Delta is the difference between the old and new numbers in red)

If I add up all the deltas then my DPS would have increased by 12.86 Billion. Which is really only 11% of my total zonewide.

    Issues I noticed:

Some Bruiser Combat arts were left out completely and did not receive any upgrade: Savage Assault and Beatdown.

The largest upgrade was from Devastation Fist which is a CA shared with Monks. Do Monks even need help right now?

Also "Sucker Punch" received only a relatively small upgrade. The Delta on Sucker Punch was only measured the millions or 0.241B. I was hoping for at least a 2 billion Delta on Sucker Punch. This is really the main thing I would like to see changed as part of my Feedback. Sucker Punch needs a bigger upgrade. A long time ago it used to the Bruiser's hardest hitting CA and now it is basically irrelevant.

Please consider adjusting these numbers a bit. Thanks.

It looks like there was already a change made to the Beta numbers.

On sucker Punch the first number was increased by 320% and the second number by 250%. The average spread between the two numbers would be 285% change which is pretty good. It brings the Delta up on sucker punch to a little over 1.3 Billion. This was just the kind of change we needed. Thanks Caith for the fast adjustment. ^^

Math applied to Vex Thal parse from before:

    Sucker Punch: 0.731Billion dps x 285% = 2.083 Billion dps (1.352 B Delta)

Can we go ahead and make Blaze Kick X the single target version of Dragonfire?

The fundamental problem with this CA is that it never got compensation from the multiple damage consolidation with the current tier of abilities.

    The BK IX DOT is 4,666,938,612 (863,917,934 + 3,803,020,678)
The BK X DOT is 3,976,269,210

The top end base damage increase from IX to X is about 430% so let's do the honors for the DOT and make Blaze Kick X awesome.

Also, let's boost the Smoldering Fists, Bruising, and Manhandle procs like the CAs.

I tested our tanking ability on some heroic trash. I got hit 1431 times and I procced a Stoneskin a combined 12 times. That is a 0.838% procrate. I can only imagine how this is in challenge or raid mobs. Seriously needs to be looked into.

Monks on test still outparses bruisers by 50% if not more.

This is Truth. Blaze Kick should be a single target "Dragonfire" but it is basically a joke in its current form. I would agree this ability needs further boosting.

Maybe they are having trouble balancing the classes because they are dealing with thousands of % on gear, and damage numbers in the BILLIONS

The long term vision I see for Bruisers is not to be the Main Tank (MT) but to be a really good 3rd tank. There are too many classes that can do MT already, Monk included. The best place for a Bruiser is not in front of the mob but behind the mob and to pick up extra adds when the OT can't be in two places at once. This is the role I play in my current guild as one of the few raiding Bruisers. I am not the MT and not the OT either. Bruiser = 3rd tank. That role was very useful early in the expansion with Grieg's wolves and those tormented husk adds that Khati Sha spawns from the Spirit Harvest Raid.

To be a really good 3rd tank requires pulling my weight DPS and to be able to drag adds when needed. I would like to see more attacks that do extra damage when behind the mob as that supports the role of being a good 3rd tank. That is why I really like the ability sucker punch. After doing some testing I think Bruiser DPS needs to be boosted up even more. Even after all these changes Bruisers still aren't even close to monks offensively.

These two Combat Arts didn't receive any boost in the latest patch. Both of these should be boosted up at least 200% to 300%.

Also wouldn't mind seeing Brutality grant Fervor Overcap. Might even be interesting to drop Fervor and let it grant both Fervor Overcap and Crit Bonus Overcap to allow the ability to greatly benefit everyone who groups or raids with a Bruiser with higher level gear.

Void Fist Epic 2 ability should just make Lightning Fists permanent effect. The recast of LF is already shorter than duration

Tiger Reflexes increases flurry multiplier by 0.1 per point up to 8.

Vah Shir starts with a 0.5 flurry multiplier racial.

This does not seem balanced at all and the AA is either very undertuned or the racial extremely poverful.

Chi gives you 17.3% flurry for 31.5 seconds. A 230 resolve gear piece gives you a static 14.8 Flurry.

Auto attack is worthless again and so the new AA's are already useless unless changes happen again.

Which again means that Relentless Punches and Eagle Shriek is mostly worthless again.

Let's just say that monks are not overpowered at the moment. We don't make the best main tanks as we tend to take more damage and require more healing than the metal armored classes. As for damage output, short term one of our best zerkers can do more than I can. Long fights, I can pull slightly ahead of him for DPS, but only if I'm watching the timing and combination of abilities very closely.

When "Ready up" procs, "Boneshattering Combination" (When its on its 30s cooldown) loses its numeric cooldown number but is not castable and is greyed out and will never return to usual color unless you button mash it and its actually off cool down. I am guessing its a visual bug but would be nice to get sorted.

This happens on live and on beta.

Could just be something with your UI but I don't have this issue.

That's possible. I use the newest Darq UI.

Battering Onslaught is acting strange and is exceptionel weak. Buffing this ability could be another way to increase our output.

Right side prestige endline. Still is not scaling up in damage correctly with the number of stacks of Pulverize. This has been an issue since 2013.

To even make this ability worth taking you need to increase the damage by 3-5 times its current values. Right now the priority and damage is less than Uppercut. Horrible for an end Prestige AA.

Multiplying the damage by 5 will make it our 4th most priotizered DPS ability. That's how weak it is.

A few compareable ability efficiency to show how weak it is (Compared to Grandmaster quality CA's and other AA's):

    Clinch: 41865
    Devastation Fist: 38707
    Boneshattering Combination: 20116
    Baton Flurry (Rank 10): 16845
    Eagle Spin (Rank 10): 16845
    Hadooken (Expert): 13737
    One Hundred Hand Punch: 9675
    Sucker Punch: 6709
    Crane Sweep (Rank 10): 6053
    Abuse (With 10 Dragton AA's): 5392
    Blaze Kick: 4709
    Eye Gouge: 4673
    Uppercut: 4648
Battering Onslaught (5 stacks Pulverize): 4543
    Meteor Fist: 4106
    Merciless Stomp: 3358

Compared to our two lowest priority damage abilities, Pummel (2362) and Sneering Assault (2160) its only twice as good and its an end prestige AA.

With my suggested buff Battering Onslaught at 5 stacks of Pulverize will have an efficiency of 20112. With the changes currently planned for this GU, this prestige AA will fall even further behind without a change.

Also: Combination King: Right first row of prestige AAs. Not affecting Battering Onslaught despite the fact that it is also an attack with "multiple hits".

Impenetrable Will, Left side endline prestige AA is supposed to increase the value of taunts by 100%.

It only increases taunts by 6%

    Rescue Adept from 6357854415 to 6743583756 = 6.06697347%
    Slurred Assault Grandmaster 3943864882 to 4183138118 = 6.06697346%

Tooltip is worded as the following:
"Caster will parry 100.0% of incoming attacks.
Increases the value of taunts by 100%.
Makes caster immune to strikethrough attacks."

It should be (100% of initial + 100% of increase = 200% of initial). In other words, the quantity should double.
