I was zoning into the battlegrounds.. and got the boot (which has happened many times) but when the character screen came up I was at the "welcome to Everquest" create a character. That I have had happen before but now no matter how many times I close out and reload the game it keeps going to the Welcome to Everquest ... create a character. Anyone have a fix for this one..
Have you tried hitting your keyboard up or down arrows a few times? This will usually bring your characters back at that "create a character" screen.
If the "fix" Rosyposy gave does not work, you can try deleting your log-in cache folders for US and EU, then rerun the launcher and let it load all the way to the character select screen, do not select a character from the drop down menu on the launcher. I have had this fix the issue. Good Luck!
