    1. a marid, and a merid ring event mobs take significantly longer than ring event mobs in other instances to kill.
    2. shinies in some areas unable to be harvested, see attached image.

    (note: standing 0m from shiny)

Group Makeup - Pali (top 10 guild ww), mystic (#1 guild ww), Templar (#1 guild ww), lock, necro

We cleared this zone in about 45mins. with 1 wipe on 1st and 2nd named and none on 3rd. Dps was really low, especially for a t1. I was top by a considerable margin I will link parses on the named breakdown below but its safe to say that a normal group would struggle really bad and the resolve check for this was t1. Power on the boss fights was a major issue. we had to use coercer bot to stay afloat and on the longer kill times by the end it was a zerg fest. We had no real power feeder ie. chanter/bl. We did each named without the coercer merc to see how bad it was to stay up with power. first named was not possible and we wiped around 10% to 0 power. 2nd was the same. 3rd agroed on us but with the merc it was still interesting. ZW Curses in the zone where rough, the whole group was constantly getting them even though the initial was cured quickly enough. We pretty much over healed the zone. I do not see a normal group clearing this at least not in heroic gear. raid guilds will be fine though. the necro we had must have either had lower resolve or something bc his parse was way low but he wasnt getting one shot so idk. so assuming full group with proper power feed and strong t1s in 2 spots the kill times would probably be similar. stacked raid guild groups will be higher for sure.
my important stats where 4100 cb, 72k pot, 322fervor (cap full time), 966 resolve (890 cap for zone), 240 doublecast, 32 ability double.

    1st named:
    (04:04) Champion of E'ci: 737.71M Necro-Reaper's Soulburn-1.75B
    Warlock | 560.80M
    Pali | 134.49M
    Mystic | 22.85M
    Necro | 13.04M
    Templar | 5.87M
This named was interesting after we figured out the freeze/stun mechanic it wasnt too bad. the power drain was rough though without the merc. looking at the parse the power drain was 105k, 67k from freezing depths, 38 from grasping plunge. if either of these are fail effects its probably fine as is.

    2nd named:
    (04:25) Champion of Marr: 1.22B Warlock-Rift-2.72B
    Warlock | 975.38M
    Pali | 129.91M
    Mystic | 77.92M
    Templar | 24.25M
    Necro | 15.68M

This named was pretty rough. lots of ports. The snake adds kept coming and did not despawn after the mob died. I think a few bugged into the floor at one point too because we where getting ported constantly and stunned and i couldn't get a target on them. 2nd pull i was able to stay on top of them and the ports where a lot better some i'm guessing the script was to kill before they port you? the full group cures/stun/port became a bit much though. especially since some ports where at the outer edge of the platform and the run back almost killed me. it did kill our healers and lock a few times. the final kill was a last ditch 5% burn with both healers dead so it was no slouch of a fight. If normal groups make it past first named i dont see them killing this without either stacked dps or stacked heals. power drain was 150k on this one, 72k frozen beyond, 52k freezing depths, 20k grasping plunge.

    3rd named:
    (04:04) Champion of E'ci: 737.71M Necro-Reaper's Soulburn-1.75B
    Warlock | 560.80M
    Palli | 134.49M
    Mystic | 22.85M
    Necro | 13.04M
    Templar | 5.87M

This fight seemed pretty straight forward. There was a screen color change effect that said it power drained 10% per 6 sec and was a double spell cast but it didnt seem to drain much. the stun was annoying but with 2 healers and warlock dark siphoning it wasnt terrible. power drain was 110k power dps on this, 85k freezing depths, 24k song of ice.

Over all I enjoyed the zone. With my normal stacked guild group it will be completely doable. possibly with one healer with enough dps to melt the mobs quickly. one final note, the trash also had a lot of hp.they would be fine with strong group but normal/pugs are gonna complain.

    hope it helps!

Just to add to Talduke's post above.
I played the necro present and there was nothing wrong with his resolve, it was at 1056 with a mix of old live gear (e.g the charms), solo drops and 3 or 4 pieces of the scaling beta gear, without any scaling gear I am at like 950 or so..

What you need to know though is, that I am probably the typical "casual" player on live. Some info on my live stats (as this is where we will start of at the beginning of the exppansion. I have 62mil HP, 85k potency, 4630CB, 1.5mil ABmod, 86 fervor, 750 resolve, 160 Doublecast.,
I have my epic 2.0 with the epic spells both at ancient, my etherealist spells 1 - 10 are at expert level, got the mount from the heroic completionist stuff, From the summer event I have the shoulders at lvl 5 plus all orange runes, a set of Glory, Championship, Witness + Juxtaposition V's as well as the complete orange sets for Paixao and Pingyuan Diqu.
I do not have a fervor bot to heartbind with on a second account, so am not running with 30 extra fervor all the time. which definitely leaves me lacking in the fervor department. I do not raid, so don't have any raid gear, don't have the necklace from the heroic collection or the raid update, which all contributes (or not) to my dblcast being what it is.
To sum it up: Lower fervor + lower double cast + average ascension levels => a lot lower dps.

In beta I ran all solo quests + signature line in my old live gear and had no problem whatsoever, nameds usually died in 15-30 seconds. In fact I could help out a bunch of folks who had got stuck at killing some nameds.

So I can only agree with Talduke.... any normal/pug/casual group will have no chance even though this is considered a T1.
Please keep in mind, not everyone has all ascensions grandmastered or even at ancient level, not everyone has top notch raid gear and so on.
I understand that there are different types of players who all will want to enjoy the new stuff - and rightly so - , casuals, raiders and the hardcore min/max people to name a few, which makes it a difficult endeavor for you devs to satisfy all wishes and needs. A "simple" T1 though should be doable for casual players as well.
Of course it could just be that I am a bad player with no skill.

    Did the solo zone.

Shinnies while accessable are difficult to see. Only the ? shows even for ones on the walkways. Can the color of the starburst be adjusted?

Are the urchins needed to have such high HP compared to the other trash mobs? I think they should be adjusted down to the others.

  9. Kander Developer

I finally found the issue with the urchins, which are not in this zone. But should be corrected now.

Zone: Ayuidor: The Veiled Precipice [Solo]
Shiny spawned at (6.96, 668.39, 151.22) after killing Champion of Marr gives message "Can't see target"

  13. Sigrdrifa Well-Known Member

So, in trying to gather all of the solo zone shinies to see what prizes are in the bottom of that box of Crackerjack, I ran all three Awuidor solo zones over and over yesterday. The shiny after the Champion of Marr was always bugged the same way. I didn't check to see if it was in the exact same location every time, but I emerged from this zone with no more than two shinies every time.

While I'm at it, here's the results of the shinies I did collect, so you can eyeball and see if those are the drop rates you intended.

After killing the ring events, the merid corpses aren't lootable and don't go away.

I just fell through the sparkly bridge between the platforms. I have no idea exactly where because I died on my way down.
