The Renowned Gnoll Slayer Lord Kittik Mcboing of Bristlebane This is what I currenlty see while running around in EQ2. (Not me personally, I only display "Kittik") This is annoying as crap to see running around on the screen all the time. Try being in a raid of 24 people all with Title, Prefixes, names and ser names on the screen. I don't even know what we're fighting half the time. Other than the Hide all option is there another way of displaying only the name of people? Can I hide Title, Prefixes and Ser names?
I'm at work, so I can't remember off the top of my head...but I have mine set to names displaying only when I roll over or target a player with my mouse. Not sure if you can just hide titles and such.
You can turn most of it off. Options -> User Interface -> Name and Chat bubble I think that's where it was (working off memory). Might need to ensure Advanced options is toggled.
I know I can hide names. And I know I can hide and show only when. But I'm looking for Display only First name. Can't find that option anywhere.
You can turn off titles, leaving only names. You can not turn off peoples surnames, it's part of their name.
RoK had some of the best. My favorite was: Rubble-rabble Rouser Meaghan Stormfire, Quatcha Catcher and Shackle Grandmaster Sulan Stormfist of the Tynnonium Shackle They'd take up half my damn screen.
EQ2 Button >> Options >> User Interface >> Name and Chat Bubble. Set Show Titles to "Never". Uncheck Guild Names if desired.
