Is supposed to drop the quest giver piece for "Tales of Savage Lands: A Tuft of Brown Hair". I have been killing these mobs (needed for other quests mind you).. for about 7 hours.. Can someone make sure they didn't screw up the drops with the last patch? Has anyone gotten "a small chest" to drop since the last patch? I am beginning to get Fungi on the brain!! And yes.. I understand you are supposed to repeatedly kill x number of mobs to get y to drop. The problem is.. this is a mob needed for other quests as well.. thus creating a bottle neck (potentially).
Some of the dropped quest starters seem to drop really rarely. Some of that is just RNG. keep on slaughtering!
Just as an update.. another day of slaughtering.. still no drop... NONE of the mushrooms are dropping any boxes.. Just a thought..
In 4 days, I've killed 1,834 "a reishi shrieker". ZERO chests dropped from ANY mushroom.. Rare is one thing... this is just silly. I say it is broken!!
That's a good thing to check. On the Character window there's a magnifying glass icon. Click that to open the search tool and make sure that you don't have "Tales of Savage Lands: A Tuft of Brown Hair".
