I have been trying to start this quest ,cant seem to get a mail from Captain Ethan . I finish the previous time line from the tradeskill line. Still no email to start A Missing Crewman . Can someone share the quest with me to start it or is the only way from the email?
Wondering if I need to finish all the weekly quests from the Tears crafting timeline to get it to advance.
You are level 93 in your chosen Tradeskill? This is the requirement to get the email from Captain Ethan. Have you gone to the Isle of Mara and asked Jerol the mail guy if he has any mail for you? He is next to the hitching posts by the woodworking bench.
I believe you should just get the mail at tradeskill level 95. I don't remember ever having to finish Tears quests or anything in connection to A Missing Crewman... *edited..ok, maybe it is 93, not 95? Cyrrena knows more than I , case in point, i forgot about good ol' jerol
I am level 110 tradeskill , wonder if I messed up and deleted the email a while back. Trying to get all the bountiful harvest items I can . So I have been going back and doing older tradeskill content.
There is also (and I can't remember if it is this quest or not, been a while) 2 Captain Ethans one outside and 1 inside the building. I think the one inside never had a feather or anything for me but when I talked to him he gave me the quest. Of course like I said I'm not sure if it was that quest or not.
The one inside gives multiple quests. I have done his other quests , for some reason I cant get the one for Tranquil Seas. I wonder if someone can just share the quest with me ?
Think I have this figured out . Going to test this on my lunch , as I just cant wait till 5 PM. That would be to late for me ....lol
You are welcome. I am glad that Jerol gave you the mail and you can now move on. Any time I see anything that requires a mail, that is the first place I go if I do not have it and the first place I direct people in game and on the forums to go. If that fails then we can work on a different solution.
Now to finish the Blessed prayer shawl.....I am not a fan of hunting down all the other trade skillers to get this done......lol
If you are on AB, I can do the update on a Carpenter and a Tailor for you. I do not have the rest of them yet.
... and if you're on Halls of Fate, look me up -- I'm a woodworker. I specialise in bows, but I can also make the shawl's woodworker thingummywhatsit (is it the fishing pole?).
I'm on Maj Dul I have all 9 crafters I should be on all weekend off and on I can do them for you. Characters I will/should be on would be Breanna, Pandamonia, Shalemar, or Kaysandra, so shoot me a tell I'm on est time just so you know.
I didn't end up trying to finish it , guild stuff and working on a future raid alt. Breanna ,I will watch for you. Would be fantastic to finish that up on my harvester. Would put me just over 100% bountiful harvest. Need those rares for weapons to salvage for essences......ugh.
