    Lamia smiled and nodded. She stopped walking and faced the Freeblood, barely looking her in the eye. "Of course. What is it, my friend?" she asked softly. She looked around briefly to make sure that nobody was around. Of course, then again, she didn't expect anyone, but she had wanted to make sure of it.

    Shiasia giggled lightly at Limberger and nodded. "Ah I see. I'm sure you'll grow up to be a very handsome young gentleman, albeit rather mischievous." she winked, gently tapping the young boy's nose. She then sighs and leans back, looking at her own son and staring at the small infant in her arms. A moment later the mother yawned.

    Jhyiskitches gently grasped Colby's hand and gave a warm shake, giving a nod. "Nices to meet yous Colby. My name is Rot- uhm.. Jhyiskitches." He began to say his former name, but luckily stopped himself and spoke of the new one. He looked Colby over briefly. He could sense that same familiar aura that he himself had.

    "You.. were a Shadowknight weren't you?" he asked very quietly.

    Shantotto had not flown completely away, so she was able to hear some of the conversation. She lowered down to just hovering right above the ground. She looked over at the sergeant and laughed lightly. "Your so-called "prisoner" is dead, and he burns nearby."

    She points over to where the body is, it was still smoldering, but not completely ablaze. "Not exactly a prisoner though, considering he looked free enough when I flew by earlier.." she retorted. She rose up a few more feet and winked at Herrigan before suddenly rising up higher and flying away, seemingly towards The Tainted Eagle.

    It suddenly clicked to Vhyrenia what was going on. Her eyes widened slightly. She was rather angered by the fact that Tygarr attacked an innocent woman. Then she was even more shocked to find out said woman was a werewolf. Being fed up of her spite towards Tygarr, as well as the fact that he attacked an innocent, caused her to lose control.

    Her pupils dilated to thin lines and she let out a growl. That feral part of her mind still remained.. And it was quickly taking over. She spoke through clenched teeth, her claws flexing as she glared at Tygarr. "Onmiddellik verlaat! Ek wil nie jou seer te maak nie! (Leave Now! I don't want to hurt you!)" However she felt it unlikely that the male would understand her. It was a very old dialect of Kerran that was spoken mainly by Kerran "savages".

    Vaska just barely heard the words echo throughout the house, as his wife left the door open. He frowned and swallowed nervously. He rubbed his eyes and got up from the bed. He hurried out of the house and saw the woman he loved acting the way he dreaded. The Freeblood swallowed again and hurried over to Vhyrenia. He put his arms on her shoulder and turned her around. He spoke to her in that same dialect, urging her to calm down and not let her emotions get to her. Vhyrenia scowled and argued back, pointing accusingly at Tygarr whilst facing her husband.

    Vaska shook his head and answered back. A few words exchanged and she calmed down considerably, still visibly tense however. He pulled her back to their house and began giving her a lecture.

    ((Yay, Vaska saved Tygarr from getting his face ripped off by Vhyrenia! :p ))

    (( adding something to my post earlier; the scene with Stinsmia and Relane))

    Stinsmia thought for a few minutes about when her father was going to come home. A sudden click, and then a clang to the floor caused her to jump slightly. She looked down and blinked, swallowing semi-nervously. She leaned down and picked the metal, rune-carved collar and pulled it up to look at it.

    "I-It c-c-came off... I-It actually came off..!" she stuttered, very surprised and yet frightened as well. Around her neck was clearly an impression on her fur that showed the collar had been sealed very tightly for the longest time on her. She shivered as she began to get rather cold.

    What she had said earlier to Galabrin, earlier in Faydwer that is, was that her collar also controlled her unstable Wizardry magic. She huddled into a small lump. She looked over at Relane with tears starting to form in her eyes. She shook her head. "L-Leave M-Mama.. T-The collar's off.. T-That's a bad thing.. W-Without it.. M-My magic g-g-goes out of control.. P-Please.. Go mama.. I don't want to accidentally hurt you.."

    Ross sat back down. "Where did you and Mazsra live after she took you away?"
    Alderman accepted Mordedana's help in standing. "I'm fine, what about him?" He reached out and grabbed the Kerra's bleeding arm a little roughly. "Calm yourself. High emotions could change you quicker once you've been bitten. Stay calm and let me heal this."

    Bella grinned. "How quicks of a learners is you's brothers?" She glanced at Canty. "Is goods. You's keeps practicings likes thats and you's wills bes best chopper in kitchen!" She began to roll out the dough over a light dusting of flour on the counter.
    Aloysiius winked and continued without revealing the trick. "So, he took the single copper coin," He placed the coin in Fayberry's paw. "And went back into Qeynos. Having very little money of his own and having tossed nearly all of his inheritence into the pool he began to look for work, but could find nothing. As he was walking through the docks he saw a small cat, who looked hungry and cold. So it was that he used his last copper coin to buy a sunfish roll and he gave that to the little cat."
    Rothgut glanced up as Tetri and Senri left. He chewed on his lip, but decided to stay where he was. He seemed to only get in his son's way when there was trouble.
    ***
    Llew smiled wryly at the news. 'Fun' was one way to describe it.
    Charlemin looked at the wound. His whiskers twitched as he thought. "The only things I's cans thinks to use is more Divines energy, but thats seems to bes a problems." He replied, switching to Ratongan without thinking.
    The Koada'dal mage frowned. "What was that?" She asked in Common.
    ***
    Padparadisch looked away. "The eager ones always forget about seasickness. Just don't sit next to my plate in the dining hall."
    A Feir'dal crewman laughed nearby. "Dinin' hall, he says! La-dee-da!" A couple of the others laughed while they worked. The scowl on Paddy's face returned. "I kin whip you oop a potion for seasickness, if'n yer want, missy." The Feir'dal grinned widely.
    ***
    Herrigan shook his head again. "There are mercenaries all through Qeynos these days, it seems. It doesn't bother me one bit if that's the path you choose, miss."
    Norna shook her head. "Well, the Lady is fine, I think, but the prisoner is...um..."
    ***
    Ginnar scratched his beard. "Well...Did Thrain say anythin' bout' it? 'E's a thumpin' good more o' a 'ealer than me. Ay coul' give it a go though, if yer wan'. Can't 'urt ter try, eh?"

    “5 Lucie Strrreet...” the kitten Ziqua answered “She wanted to find something biggerrr but therrrres room enough forrr us...”
    Tygarr relaxed and let the paladin heal the wound “By healing it I won't change right?” there seemed to be a bit of panic in his voice.
    Mordedana shook her head “I do not know much about werewolvesss. He should be fine aside from being a canine at night.”
    Tygarr swallowed “But this will stop it frrrom happening rrright?” he pleaded his voice breaking in a squeak. The Kerra was too panicked about becoming a werewolf to notice the couple's return.
    In a corner the ghost of Ziqua Wallbreaker raised her hands in a cheer. She stopped as the Freeblood held back the savage female Kerra. "Oh well. He will be punished Kitten," she said to Vhyrenia. She spoke in the same Kerran "Indeed the bite he suffered from the Lycan child will change his life forever.

    “I honestly don't know...” Zach answered. “Given everything that has happened...” he sighed “Before now last time I saw Carl I was 10...”
    “Thanks yous,” Canty answered as she finished chopping the berries.
    “Thanks,” Fayberry whispered as she was handed the coin.
    One of her brothers reached over and grabbed the coin. The other four turned and started fighting over the copper.
    Calarys sighed “Excuse mes ones moments please,” she said to Shiasia. She stood up and set Limberger on the chair. She then marched over and grabbed the coin from the midst of the squabbling children. “Fayberry whens wes gets the Qeynos picks outs somethings ands we'lls gets for yous. In the mean times I'll holds on to this.”
    Fayberry nodded as her mother placed the coin in her pocket.
    “Nows boys I expects yous to listens. He gaves its to Fayberry, she earneds its honestly. Stealings is nots honests.”
    “Buts Ms. Tari saids if theys can'ts holds on tos its thens theys don't deserves its,” one of the boys answered.
    Calarys frowned “Wells shes is wrongs. Nows sits stills and listens. I thinks y'alls really needs to hears this ones.
    “Yis,” Colby answered “Until thats blasted Fury cames alongs... broughts traitors tos my house. I hads no choice buts to leaves.” he sighed “Whats abouts yous?”
    ~~~~
    Alyerra sighed. She answered in common “He said what I was afraid of... he can do nothing except make it worse.
    Kyriu shared the latest information with Aly.
    Alyerra laughed. Through the stone to Llew and Ky she said “Given their reactions to me being born Half-Teir-dal this will be interesting... actually I'm shocked that they did not see that. As a kid people knew... my most common nickname from others my age was the purple freak. Personally though I'm glad Mom's coming...”
    ~~~~
    Xia nodded to the Feir'dal. She swallowed and managed to speak rather hoarsely “I don't think I'll be 'eating' in the Mess Hall,” she said remembering the captain's words from earlier. She stood and vomited over the side again.
    ~~~~
    Tari grinned “Yeah of course that's it... yeah Lady De'Esalcoda hired me for five hundred plat ta..”
    Brienae glared “You are out of your corrupted hate filled mind!”
    “Come on Cuz.... what's five hundred plat ta...”
    Brienae giggled “You always forget my vows don't you?”
    “Ya still don't carry any plat on ya!” Tari shouted “Ya really are an idiot!”
    “What brought you here Tari, what really brought you here?” Brienae asked again.
    The High-Elf nodded “What happened? Last thing I remember is the prisoner escaped and began casting...” he frowned “I must be a weak minded fool...”
    ~~~~
    Relane smiled and shook her head she held up a glowing hand “I have a better idea, instead of go fish why don't I teach you control?” she asked
    Galabrin stepped through the door carrying a stack of papers “How did you get the collar off?” he asked as he set the papers on the table.
    ~~~~
    Lazera swallowed “I have a very unique ability... that has only been seen once in known history. I can read the wind. The wind is Nature's way of speaking. All druids can sense things about Nature to some extent but not like me..” she swallowed “I'm not trying to brag really... we've been trying to keep it a secret because the last Wind Reader could never find peace... everyone wanted her to tell their future.” she shivered “It's also why I don't think Nature has abandoned me. I can still read the wind.” she blinked “And you are going to help right a wrong that you committed. The Freeblood that you tortured is going to be brought to those mountains to have the divine energy removed. You must help her. Only then can you start healing yourself.”
  5. Iksaress Member
    Lamia blinked. She didn't exactly think that Lazera knew what had happened. But then again.. She did say she was some sort of Wind Reader. She sighed and nodded, but then she crossed her arms. She rolled her eyes slightly. "Oh. Yeah. Help her.." she mumbled.
    "Do you really think she'd accept my help after what I.. She.. IT! did to her?! I certainly don't!" she scowled.
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    Shiasia rocked her son slowly and gently. She could barely hear the conversation held betwixt the two male Ratonga nearby. She shuddered at the mention of Shadowknight. She frowned at the other four Ratongan children. All that fighting over a copper coin? Yeesh.. Then again they were children.
    "Listens to yous mother.." She looked around, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Or the boogieman will come and get you.." she winked at Calarys asking her to play along.
    Jhyskitches chuckled lightly at what Shiasia said and then turned back to face Colby again. He thought for a moment. A Fury.. He had heard rumours lately in Freeport of some Ratongan Fury making their name known. At being asked about himself, he swallowed and looked down, a forlorn look in his face. "I simply seek to repent for a crime I had committed.. Really that's all for me though." he shrugged.
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    Shantotto flew away from the group and headed towards a lone cabin nearby, her home. What she was unaware of however was that it was about time her wings started shedding their old feathers. In result, a path of white bird feather made a trail to her hut.
    She landed on the ground and unlocked the hut with her key, heading inside and putting her staff to the side.
    "Hm.. I do believe it's time to pull out that Jum Jum pie.." she said to herself, having put said pie in the oven earlier. It was probably done baking by now. She opened the oven, pulled it out, and put it on the windowsill to cool down. She saw her reflection in a mirror nearby. She stepped close and sighed.
    "Oh all this time.." she mumbled. She had forgotten to marry for a while.. She was afraid it was too late. But she held onto a sliver of hope deep within her heart. She wondered what kept her from doing so. She understood no reason whatsoever.
    +++++++++++++++++++++
    Vaska restrained his wife in the house until she regained her senses. She blinked and then she realized. "My goodness.. I don't know what came over-" "You don't want to know." the Freeblood interrupted, frowning and shaking his head. The kerra had heard what the ghost had said, but her mind had been fogged considerably.
    "Maybe you should get some rest, dear.." Vaska murmured. The Kerra nodded and frowned, heading over to the bedroom.
    She flopped down on said bed and started sleeping again. Vaska kept close watch nearby, reading a book.
    +++++++++++++++++++++
    Stinsmia looked over at her father, still huddled together. "D-Daddy it just.. came off.. I-I didn't do anything! It l-literally just.. fell off..!" she exclaimed, still baffled.
    She looked towards her mother. Her thought processes registered the glowing hand as an enemy, however she knew better
    "O-Okay.." she stuttered to Relane
    +++++++++++++++++++++
    A young Iksar, hood over his head and blindfold over his eyes, creeped out of the shadows and turned his face up to "look" at Tygarr. He sighed and shook his head. He also sneered lightly.
    "And sssso the ssserpent'ss venom is inflicted upon he who agitates the serpent" he said cryptically. "As for the question I overheard.." he began to say, pulling up his arm and pushing up the sleeve to show a scar with two puncture marks. He had made sure to stay a good distance away from the Kerra, and yet enough close so he could hear him.
    "Conssssidering the fact that I myself am a werewolf, well I'll tell you two thingsss." he rolled the sleeve back down. He held up one of his reptilian claw. "Number one. It'ssss not sssso bad once you get usssed to it."
    "Number two. Emotions and worriesss only sssspeed up the processs. I learned this the hard way.". He backed away slightly. He let out a low growl. "Get past the pain of the first transformation. Or rather survive, and you'll be fine..". He backed back into the alleyway he was in before as he let himself submit to the feral instinct within him. he somehow transformed without a making a verbal sound.
    (( Yay, Elena gets a werewolfy buddy :p ))
    Ross wrote the address down. "And did Miss. Maszra ever hurt you? What did she do when you had a vision?"
    Alderman shook his head, but let the healing divine light limn his hands over the wound. "I am unschooled in the specifics of the lycanthrope curse, I suggest that you might seek someone more knowledgeable than I to answer your question."
    Bella looked over her shoulder at Zach. "Cookings is nots hards to learns, I's is sures you's brother will bes fines." She smiled, but did not point out Llew's limited success with cooking.
    Aloysiius nodded in gratitude to the children's mother before continuing. "Now then. The little cat ate the sunfish roll hungrily and the man left her to it. But soon after he looked behind him and found the cat following him through the crowd. When he stopped walking the cat stopped, where he went the cat followed. All day while he looked for work, the cat stayed behind him. Eventually he turned and knelt down, offering his hand to the little cat. She walked forward cautiously and sniffed his hand, and then began to walk away. She turned and looked at him and continued, pausing to look back at him. He decided to follow her through the crowd and see where she would lead him."
    Rothgut frowned at the lettering on the paper. The Common Language looked so strange.
    ***
    Llew replied through the stone. 'They arrived knowing you were a Freeblood, they, perhaps, assumed the color of your skin was due to that and not from how you looked before.'
    Charlemin looked up at Llew. "You said you might try what was done for Al?"
    Llew nodded. "Yes. As soon as Miss. Tetri gets here we can go to Bloombright."
    In the other room Aleteriq fidgeted with his necklace. He could hear a little bit from the other room and caught the name Bloombright.
    ***
    The Feir'dal laughed. "I'm Rainer Smite an', while I'm no doctor, I do help with wounds and illness around here. I'll go make yer a potion fer seasickness." He turned to Paddy. "Do yer wan' one ter?"
    Padparadisch shook his head. "I've been to sea before." He rasped.
    "How bout somethin' for tha' sore throat?"
    ***
    Herrigan frowned and looked back at the wagon. "Well, since there is no prisoner to exchange now, I think we should head back to the Guardhouse with her." He nodded to Mazsra.
    Norna shook her head. "I'm an Illusionist myself and I can tell you we Enchanters can make even strong willed people see and believe what we want."
    ***
    Ginnar tapped a finger on his knee. "Yer kin, there migh' be somethin' we kin do fer 'im. It's 'ard ter grow back a limb that were lost so long ago, bu', Ay think, wit enough Paladins we kin give 'im somethin'. An' yer kin, even if tha' dun work, yer kin see if Dan or Llew kin think up a better spell than th' speakin' stones."
    Ziqua shook her head “Wheneverrr I had a vision she would ask me about it, but she neverrr yelled at me when I w-wasn't rrready t-to t-talk about it. S-sometimes w-when I h-had a r-really b-bad vision sh-she'd h-hold m-me and and tell me it would b-be alright... it was h-her idea for me t-to draw... Sh-she was always c-calm w-when I did tell her she n-never got angry no matterrr what it was.”
    Tygarr began shaking and began to mutter “It can't be, just as the kitten said... it can't be, just as the kitten said...” he repeated it over and over seemingly losing himself in the thought.
    Priestess Anna watched the Iksar come and go so suddenly she wondered if she had imagined it.
    Elena was watching the door. How had she not sensed a fellow werewolf? It troubled the wolf very much. She laid down feeling exhausted and ill.
    ~~~~
    Zach nodded.
    Canty sighed “Now whats?” she asked.
    “Looks like you might have a full class,” Zach laughed nodding to the teen Ratonga.
    The children sat quietly and listened. Limberger slid off the chair and sat back on the floor with the others
    Calarys smiled at the young mother before walking over to the two male Ratongas “Colby, I thoughts wes agreeds nots to lets thats thats pixies nears thems,”
    Colby sighed “This is my wife Calarys, this is Jhyskitches.”
    Pleasures,” Calarys said to Jhyskitches before turning back to her husband “I tolds yous I didn'ts wants thems growings ups and joinings any gangs...”
    And they'res nots goings tos.”
    Calarys “Especiallys nows. Maybes it is a blessings wes cames heres and gots thems aways froms alls thats. At leasts thats Arasai won'ts be comings heres...”
    Yis of course nots...” Colby answered. “Nows why don'ts yous gos sits downs.”
    Calarys sighed and sat back down with Shiasia. “We's justs cames froms Freeports...” she said “His greats Aunts offered us a place to stays, buts I thinks he's still mads at hers...”
    ~~~
    Alyerra sighed “You have a point,” she said to Llew through the stone. To both Kyriu and Llew she said “We could really mess with their heads.”
    We could,” Kyriu answered “But we're not going to.” she focused on a memory to both Aly and Llew. She thought it would comfort Aly and fill Llew in:
    The scene she shared was of three adults in the Tainted Eagle's Lounge. Senriala looked just as she did now and Mesena looked as her ghost had earlier. Leaning against a wall was a man with shoulder length red hair. He listened to the women talk. Two girls ran into the room. Both were probably about eight years old. It was clear from complexion and hair color the girls were Kyriu and Alyerra: “We've decided we're cousins,” the young Alyerra announced.
    The red haired man smiled “Have you? Well I suppose my family is large enough that we can make that work.”
    Senriala turned “No absolutely not! It is common knowledge what kind of person was her father, I will not let your family name be dragged through the mud Jacob.”
    Mesena nodded “Then I guess that means we're sisters.”
    Senriala blinked “Are you out of your mind Mesena?”
    The Fier'dal shook her head “Family is there when you them. I have, since we met considered you and Aly family, so you and I are sisters and our daughters are cousins.”
    In the real world Alyerra sighed “I just hope Tetri gets here soon so we can get this over with.
    ~~~~
    Thank you,” Xia managed “Xiaminara Crimsonsong, is my full name but my friends call me Xia.” she swallowed “I grew up mostly underground...” she still felt as though she wanted to be sick but her body seemed to be running out of material to reject.
    ~~~~
    Mazsra sighed. She thought it best to remain silent.
    Tari sighed “Well I am outta here,” she looked at Brienae “Not that I care Cuz, but you don't look so good,”
    I'm fine,” Brienae muttered before yawning.
    Ya look like ya haven't slept in a week,”
    Brienae managed to stifle a yawn.
    The Koada'dal nodded “I guess I'll return to my Captain and tell him what happened.” He stood and disappeared as he touched the shrub.
    ~~~~~
    Relane lowered her hand “I'm a Wizard,” she explained “When I was about your age I had to learn control. So now I can teach you. First you need to learn focus. You don't want to hurt anyone. Start with a happy thought and focus on that.”
    ~~~~
    Carl nodded.
    Sam's voice spoke in the minds of the dwarf and Carl “I have ways of communicating. Through an ancient technique of meditation I can speak as I am now. While it would be nice to have the ability to really speak, I know how difficult it is and this method does take a lot of energy to use.” he paused “My apologies if I disturbed you just now Sir Ginnar. If a way could be found that doesn't require so much concentration and energy then I would be grateful...”
    Carl sighed “He meditates to speak... basically.”
    ~~~~~
    Lazera sighed “Not at first.” her eyes widened “What I am about to say is going to hurt, but you need to hear it. Not sure I understand to be honest but I know you will: She killed your father. You need to over power her an keep her submerged and while you may not be able to fix that first wrong you can fix this one. Using Nature's energy to imbue a blade she cut the Freeblood and at one point she twisted the blade to create a larger wound. It is that wound which you must help with. If you do this then maybe you will succeed in keeping her subdued.” she swallowed as the wind informed her that there was a possibility that anger might trigger the other one. She hoped that wasn't case.”

    Lamia growled. "Yes and that I know. I know that she hurt Alyerra already! I've been told that already!" she said rather agitatedly. She muttered to herself something about being bugged about the issue multiple times. She crossed her arms and sighed. She blinked and then scratched her head a bit.

    "Erm.. I forget.. What are we supposed to be doing again?" she asked, rather confused. She had forgotten the reason during their conversation.
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    Shiasia made sure to make it look like she was not listening to the story. She smiled back at Calarys. She began to wonder the point at which her son's fur would begin to grow more. She sneezed and shook her head. Her backpack was next to her on the floor. She reached down into it and pulled out a blanket, putting it over herself and the child in her arms.

    Jhyiskitches smiled slightly and nodded his head. "Pleased to meet your acquaintances as wells." he said politely.
    When Calarys walked away, he sighed and whispered. "Now, if only my wife was still with me. Then you'd get to meet the lovely lady she is.. If you don't mind, I'm going to go sit down for a bit. My feet are getting tired.." he frowned, going over to a chair at one of the tables near Shiasia and sitting down. He seemed to enter a deep contemplative state.
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    Shantotto blew away some of the steam from the cooling pie and sat down with a cup of tea, sipping quietly as she stepped outside the cabin and sat against the porch. She looked up at the sky and sighed. After a good hour or so, she smiled and sniffed, smelling her pie once more.

    "I do believe it's time to slice the pie.." she murmured, finishing the last of her steaming tea and going into the cabin once more. She put her cup on the counter nearby for washing and picked the pie up carefully, setting it down and getting the knife. She then sliced very carefully.

    Then she walked away and pulled a sheet of paper out of the quire, writing a groceries list.
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    The kerran woman snored weakly, at the same time purring.
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    Stinsmia shuddered and whimpered weakly, still huddled into a ball. The room was getting colder and colder by the minute. It was then that she began to focus on happy thoughts, such as living peacefully with her new parents. As well as thinking about just sleeping and naps.

    The room slowly rose in temperature until it became a quite pleasant warm. No longer was it cold. She sneezed lightly. The girl stopped shivering and looked around. "H-How'd I do m-mama..?" she asked quietly
    ++++++++++++++++++++
    The former Iksar, now in wolf form slowly padded out of the shadows. He looked around and slowly walked over to Elena. He nuzzled her gently, gave a whimper and then licked her lightly, as if telling her that everything was going to be okay. He had left his robe back in the shadows so that it wouldn't get torn.

    He communicated in very quite barks and growls, as well as body language, telling the girl that everything would be alright, that he would help her with anything she'd want him to. Then he padded away and back into the shadows. There was a sudden grunt and the now Iksar put his robe back on. The Iksar* stepped out again and sat a couple of feet away from Elena**, wanting to reassure her that he was friendly.

    (( * The Iksar sacrificed his eyes in order to attain power (He keeps his Necromancy profession under thick wraps).
    ** He's learned to "see" using sounds, smells and vibrations.
    And on another note, welcome Licerous! My werewolf will come and eat you shortly :3 ))

    ((Okay, I'm not going to lie, unless I missed it somewhere, it was 3 o'clock in the morning when I was trying to read, so the setting is lost to me. lol So in my intro I tried to keep the setting open without sacrificing quality. Who knows if I accomplished that. :/ Also, these characters aren't fully developed yet, so that didn't help. lol but I know they'll develop as the role play goes on. :3
    And bring on the werewolves. >:3 ))

    Ayr’Dal… somehow the term seems to fit so very well, but she was so reluctant to accept it as her own, a part of her had to rebel against her own kind, instead of rebelling with them. Licerous was obviously of the odd sort, and the cliché lost wanderer. No matter how she tried to deny it, Ayr’Dal, misfit, fit her in all sense of the word. But sometimes the truth is hard to understand and accept, and none knew this better than the wayward Half-Elf and her companion, with whom a gentle nudge broke her from her more than sullen thoughts.
    Her companion, a dark-scaled Drakota, nudged none too gently at the fresh wound near her nose. “Aah,” she hissed in pain. She’d forgotten about that cut, however small it was, it needed to be taken care of. Gathering a small amount of nature’s energy, a soft green glow began to surround her hand. Gently she touched the glowing hand to the cut and the wound began to close and skin knitted back together to form a scar. She was not as gifted in healing as her other Wardens, but she sure could hide her true form in the form of an animal like no other. It was her refuge, her way of getting closer to nature, the only thing she felt that accepted her… well, besides her Drakota, with who a simple wave of her hand she sent away. Everyone needed alone time, and she needed hers now. But her loyal Drakota would not go far, should she call him he’d be back in an instant. And just as quickly as that, an orange aura encompassed her entire being, and soon standing in her place was a tiger. Strong and swift, and easy to camouflage herself in the right places, and most would not recognize her as Licerous in this form, the only indication that it was her and not some random Warden, was the sullen look that never seemed to leave her ivy green eyes, and now a scar running down by her nose.

    *****************************************************************************

    Blue gathered at the feet of the Nightmare horse and flowed in an eerily glow behind it as it ran. Just as equally eerily its rider’s cape billowed like a black dancing shadow. The blur that was horse and rider screamed a sense of evil, and the words used by the rider to urge the horse on sounded equally so. Orcish the rider spoke in a masculine voice, but so quiet that not even the passing wind could hear, yet, somehow his glowing steed was able and began to run quicker than before. There was a hasty feeling in the air as well, but again, the stranger’s intentions were completely unknown, as he was definitely not from the area.
    Eventually the horse had to stop, as its rider as ran it much too hard for the past few days, and even the demonic looking thing was only mortal and of course would tire. But needless to say, the rider was just as tired. They stopped and the rider dismounted. A hood which had been covering his head was pulled away to reveal a human man, with short dark brown hair (that it was almost black) and the steeliest of blue eyes. Scruff also covered his face, a testimony to how long he’d be on the road.
    Wearily he took his new surroundings in. Where he was, he wasn’t quite so sure, but he was sure of one thing, what he was looking for had been here.
    In proof of this, a Ratonga (who was one of his sources colleagues), had described the prey he was hunting.
    “Perfect, thank you,” his raspy voice sounded. The scared Ratonga scurried off far away from the man who he was told was named Laek. And the Ratonga couldn’t help but notice before he fled, nasty puckered scars covering the man’s neck, as if something had clawed him there.

    ((Nice intros, Licerous, I look forward to see how your characters develop. :)
    It can get confusing to follow sometimes, but to help I’ll label the scenes I have characters in with where they are happening. If I recall correctly it is morning, nearing noon.
    This scene is at the Qeynos Guardhouse. Ross and Ziqua are upstairs in Ross’ office and the rest of the people are downstairs in the main room.))
    Captain Ross nodded and tapped her finger on the desk. "And what about this spirit? The one that says she is you? Do you remember anything before about being someone else like that?"
    Alderman looked up at the Kerra. "You should try to stay calm, sir."
    Sylvie saw the wolf in the corner and cautiously approached. "Are you alright?"
    ***
    ((This one takes place in the Tainted Eagle Tavern in Kelethin, which is owned by Brienae’s character, Senriala. Bella, Zach and Canty are in the kitchen and the rest are in the main room of the tavern telling stories and chatting.))
    Bella grinned. "Yisyis. A fulls class is a goods class! Let's sees...that's is Llew ands Cantys ands Carls, yis?" Bella looked to the berries. "Nows we's cooks thems. Ohs! Buts I's forgots abouts Turnips!"
    Aloysiius smiled at Limburger as he joined them again and went on. "The little cat lead him through the docks and to a ship and stopped in front of a man with a notice. The cat looked at him and looked at the man. So the son stepped forward and asked the man about the notice and he told him that he was looking to hire deckhands for a voyage at sea and that the pay would be good. The man looked down and asked if the cat belonged to him, because the ship was in need of a good mouser. So the son signed on and he and the cat went to sea."
    Rothgut looked up from his papers. "My's childrens has dones wells in Qeynos, I's hears." He grinned. "My little Bell owns her own bakery in a house bigs enough for a whole clan of Ratongas to live in ands my sons is a Paladin in the Guard ands is training a Squire! Toska here is a Conjuror ands does nots has to makes a living using deads things. You's wills sees, Qeynoses is a prosperous place for your littles pinkies."

    ((This scene is taking place in the Bindweed Manor in upper Kelethin, which is owned by my characters Alaric and Rene Bindweed.))
    Llew smiled at the shared memory. The mages leaned towards one another and spoke in low voices that she could not make the words out of. She turned to see Aleteriq peeking around the corner. She cross the room and knelt down in front of him. "Are you alright?" She whispered.
    "I heard Bloombright's name. Are we going to go see her?"
    "We're going to ask her if she can help Alyerra."
    "Is she sick like I was? Did I make her sick?"
    "No. No, Al. It wasn't you."
    ***
    ((This scene takes place on Asphodelus’ ship, The Lurlen’Ley, which just pulled out of Qeynos Harbor.))
    "I'm Padparadisch Padatasch. Not 'Paddy'."
    Rainer looked at the Teir'dal. "Are you any relation to Tobel Padatasch? That would be his humor. Are you using an illusion right now?"
    The blood vein above Padparadisch's left eye twitched. "I am not related to Tobel Patadash, no."
    "Oh, okay, then. I'll go get yer that potion then, miss." Rainer turned and disappeared into the cabin.
    At the wheel of the ship Del took a deep breath. She had heard some rumors about the slave trade in the Freewater Channel between D'Lere and Kunark picking up in recent weeks and set sail for the south east.

    ((This one is at the Druid Rings in Antonica. I’ll put a more detailed description of this one below.))
    Herrigan looked down at the burnt remains. "Well, we can't very well leave this here. We're going to have to dispose of the body properly."
    Norna nodded. "We can put the ashes in one of my bags. It is not a good idea to leave a mage's remains around. There are many dark rituals that use such a thing as reagents." Herrigan pulled a pair of gloves on and began to grim task of gathering up the burnt corpse.
    "We'll take it to the Concordium. They know the proper way to dispose of mage remains." The Barbarian glanced around. "Is that a tiger?" Herrigan squinted into the forest. "I don't see anyone. I hope some Beastlord didn't abandon their Warder out here. That could be dangerous."
    ***
    ((This one is at the Flamefist Dojo in Kelethin, if I remember correctly.))
    Ginnar nodded. "Well, lesse. We kin try ter git enough Paladins tergether fer a large 'ealin' prayer or we kin ask th' mages fer a spell tha' yer kin use tha' dun cost much energy. Which 'un woul' yer be more comfortable wit?"

    ((Herrigan, Norna, Tari, Brinae and Mazsra are at the Druid Ring out in Antonica. It seems like a scene that would fit Licerous' introduction.
    Here's a quick cheat-sheet to that scene, if you want to join it. I’ll list their names, whose character they are, race and class for clarification. If you have any more questions we’d be happy to answer them.
    Lieutenant Herrigan (Bella) is a Barbarian Guardian in the Qeynos Guard. Norna Grayhaze (Bella) is an Illusionist. They are standing over the burned remains of the Iskar Coercer, Zulgahr (Sstim), who was part of a prisoner exchange between the Qeynos Guard and the Protectors of Growth, whose protective enchantments to hold mages were in need of repair. Mazsra, Iskar Mystic (Brienae) is in a caged wagon, being held on charges of kidnapping by the Qeynos Guard. Since she is a non-violent/resisting prisoner the Guard chose her for their side of the prisoner exchange.
    Tari Clearshadow is an Arasai Assassin cousin of Brienae De’Esalcoda, Fae Bard. (Both Brienae’s)))

    ((Alright! I appreciate it Bellacouste. :) And Licerous and Laek won't be the only ones! I'll have a few more characters, but better to integrate myself first before I start going and adding too many characters. Haha And I'll have Licerous join the druids at their circle, and Laek... I'll figure something out. :p I think I may have an idea that makes some sort of sense. ^^))

    ((Very nice intros Licerous, I'll add settings to scenes I'm in that Bella is not and I'm also adding a scene. There is a character that I have been wanting to reintroduce, but haven't been sure where. Hehe meet the crazy Halfling Tsimia Plaguewren))
    Ziqua sighed “I h-had a vision a few d-days ago of s-someone who looked like me but olderrr... then I had a drrream... I saw herrr. She was t-talking to s-someone I-I couldn't see. She said I was created with herrr blood, but I-I was not herrr... she told me to wake up... and then she called me Ziqua Reborne.” tears began streaming from the kittens eyes again “I woke up c-coughing up b-blood...Uncle Tygarr called me a c-copy...” she hugged herself “I d-don't underrrstand...”
    Maheera nuzzled her partner to help cheer her up.
    Elena looked between the Paladin and the other werewolf. She concentrated and shifted back to human. As soon as she regained her human form she fainted.
    Priestess Anna touched the girls forehead “She feverish.” she sighed “She was experimented on by an Inquisitor acolyte.” she swallowed “That's why we're here so she can give a statement, but I'm worried that the experiments may have done more damage than we thought.”
    Tygarr began rocking back and forth still muttering and seemingly not hearing the Captain speak to him.
    ~~~~
    “Turnips?” the teenager quirked an eyebrow “Whys dos wes needs tunips?”
    The children continued to listen
    Calarys sighed “Yis, I knows... I thinks yours Bellas and Toska wills bes fines examples for my littles Fayberry.” she sniffed “She's mys onlys littles girls ands I worrys abouts hers.” she sighed “She's constantlys sicks and I's don'ts knows whys. Buts seeings Colbys Greats Aunts gives mes hopes she'lls be alrights.”
    Alyerra noticed Alteriq and stood. She walked over and heard the question “No Al, it has nothing to do with you.” she sighed “Someone very mean decided to cut me is all, and they used divine energy which burns me. I'll be alright.” she promised him. She smiled exposing her fangs for a brief moment. She swallowed and hid them again still worried that she scared him.
    Kyriu sighed and leaned against a wall.
    Just outside Tetriemmy stopped in front of the door and knocked. She sighed “From what I have gathered he is not the most accepting person,” she said to Senriala
    Senriala lowered her hood. “We've met, although briefly. I don't care what he thinks of me, my daughter needs me.”
    “There are also other High-Elf Mages,” Tetri continued.
    Senriala shrugged “That is probably for the best, my own people would want to dissect her in as painful a manner as possible.” she sighed “If you're worried about me getting along with them. Don't. I don't care if they like me. They're here to help my daughter.”
    Tetriemmy nodded. She had filled the Tier-dal in on the situation as they walked.
    ~~~~
    Xia nodded “You should consider some form of a nickname, I mean Padpardisch is a bit long to expect people to remember. I don't really expect people to remember Xiaminara. So I go by Xia. If you don't like Paddy we could call you Pad, or Par or maybe Disch.” she grinned exposing her fangs again “Or Grumpy.” she gave a dry retch. “Yeah I think Grumpy fits.”
    ~~~~
    “Well guess I should be goin,” Tari said “Cuz ya really should consider getting some sleep.”
    Brienae sighed. She ignored Tari and turned to Herrigan “I honestly don't know if I should head back to Kelethin or go with you to Qeynos. I need to tell my uncle that a Troubador does not compare to a chanter in any way.” she yawned.
    Tari shook her head. “See ya Cuz,” she paused before touching the bush “That is one big kitty,” she grinned “I wonder how much I could sell it for...”
    “Tari!” Brienae snapped.
    “What I gotta make a livin. I ain't so squeamish about the cute little animals, I see fur coat, I know a tailor who would split the cost with me of a fur coat ta some noble.” she grinned “Or the claws inta a necklace, or maybe a weapon if they're big enough... yeah ya could make a bunch on creature that size.” she paused and watched the creature.
    Relane smiled “That is very good,” she said.
    “Relane we need to sign these papers,” Galabrin said. “After we sign these papers it will be official, We'll be a family.” he told Stimsia.
    Sam blinked. He looked at Carl. His face showed confusion
    Carl sighed “Did I mention he's been enslaved for the past 30 years?” he swallowed “He's been able to keep his own mind mostly but...” Carl knew the problem but it hurt more to say it. While his brother had opinions something had been lost... he had lost his free will. No one had asked him a question about himself or his comfort.
    Sam looked from Carl to the dwarf. His mind was too confused on the question to say anything.
    Carl swallowed. The worst part was Sam did not even realize it.
    ((Lazera (my Freeblood Warden, she's very new to being a Freeblood) and Lamia (Iksaress' Ratonga Warden) are in Greater Faydark heading towards the mountains.))
    “We are going to aid in repairing or healing...hm if the healing energy hurts us but we can feed and injuries go away is that healing or repairing? Repairing is what you do to a construct...” she shook her head as the wind picked up around them “Oh right we're going to right the wrong you committed. You're going to help cleanse the wound you inflicted and allow it to heal...” she sighed “I guess healt does work better even though divine energy burns..”
    Tsimia flew on newly tinkered blue wings. They had been a gift from her adopted father. She had also scrounged up a blue robe with a teal dragon embroidered all around. Right now the Warlock could be classified as sane. At least her mind was clear as she flapped her wings. Of course the Halfling had her moments like this. Lately these moments were lasting longer but Tsimia didn't kid herself. She was insane. How could someone remain good and use disease and other seemingly evil powers without being crazy. She began to let her mind wander and her thoughts randomly fell on her name “My name starts with a 'T' why is that? I mean you don't hear it... I wonder why my parents put it there... hm, wish I could ask them... I mean there is no sense really in silent letters....” as her mind began to wander so too did her flight path in a downward direction. She did not see the man or his horse until she almost landed on them. She swerved and landed. “Sorry, sorry,” she said “Didn't see you. Oooh pretty horse...”
    Lamia sighed and rolled her eyes, a little tired of the babbling. She continued walking with Lazera and crossed her arms. "Yeah.. I know.." she said, now becoming depressed because of constant nagging for her "crime". She was thinking about buying a race change potion..
    Also in her pack she had a few hairs of a real lamia from a previous encounter long ago. Maybe she would perform an experiment or two with the two reagents.. "Hm.. Race change potion.. lamia hairs.." She muttered, trailing off to silence as she contemplated.
    Shiasia frowned at Calarys and sighed softly, shaking her head. "Well just keep her carefully protected and don't let her end up like me.." she whispered in the other woman's ear. She didn't want any one to suffer the type of fate that she herself had endured just a few months ago.
    She then smiled. "But on the bright side, whether it's Greater Faydwer or Qeynos, probably the worst case scenario is that she'd be unlawfully cute!" she teased, giggling softly.
    Jhyiskitches murmured quietly, as if a monotone chanting, however he kept himself mostly silent. He pulled out a small, weathered book, presumably his journal, and began to write in it, occasionally looking up ever so slightly in thought. He sneezed and continued writing.
    "Gesundheit." Shiasia said quietly.
    +++++++++++++++++++++
    Shantotto hummed quietly whilst cutting the pie with her knife. She was humming the Qeynos anthem. She pulled a plate down from her shelf and started munching on a single piece of Jum Jum pie quietly."Absolutely scrumptious.. Quite delicate and fluffy I must say.." she said quietly.
    Her thoughts on the pie drifted to others and others go forward and so-on. She stopped chewing as she got an idea. 'Maybe I'll open up a bakery..!' she thought to herself, rather pleased with the idea. She wondered how she would go about starting it though.
    Finishing the slice of pie, she put the plate to the side and left the cabin, unfurling her wings and taking flight, heading towards the Qeynos gates. She just hoped the guards wouldn't stop her, as she rarely went to the city itself.
    +++++++++++++++++++++
    Vaska sighed and let his wife sleep. He slowly tiptoed out of the house as to not wake her. There was a sale happening today.. And it was on a dress his wife had wanted. Add to that that it was their anniversary and it was perfect. He figured it wouldn't hurt to just step out a minute to get her a gift.
    He stepped out and headed over to the nearby tailor, inquiring about the item he needed. Soon he left with a gift wrapped box.
    +++++++++++++++++++++
    Stinsmia shivered weakly, terribly afraid still. She looked up at her soon-to-be father with bright eyes, smiling slightly. She was happy to finally have a family. The girl twiddled her thumbs and pulled out a small book, her journal. It was very old looking and seemed like it'd crumble soon. However it was surprisingly resilient.
    She began writing in it, on the last page about what's been happening lately. The rest of the pages were filled with the happenings of the past; what she had endured from her former master; things he had done to her, called her, etcetera. It all began to come back to her and tears formed in her eyes. She suddenly threw the book against the wall a few feet away and huddled together.
    "I-I don't want anymore to do with that evil creep.. I have no reason to keep it anymore..!" she said weakly, sniffling. For some reason, she hoped that neither Relane nor Galabrin would look at it.
    ++++++++++++++++++++++
    The Iksar, who's name was Xīyì (Shyeeyi) sighed and shook his head. If one examined him closely, they would see that he had the look of someone who was a native to the Island of Mara. He leaned against a tree and crossed his arms, pulling his robe's hood over his head.
    "Certainly wasssss nice sssseeing at leasssst one other werewolf, now knowing I'm not the only one.. But I'm afraid I musssst take my leave.. I have busssssinessss to attend to.." he hissed quietly, slowly walking away, still letting a very soft hiss emanate from his maw.
    "Bonessss.. Sssshattered.. Cracked.. And a few otherssss.. Then collection will be complete.." he murmured as he walked away.
    ((Well thanks guys! Glad you like the intros, and I hope my posts will cause some enjoyment as well. I know all of your's have. :3 Nothing better than a good role play~ And I'm an artist, who needs to practice drawing humans and humanoid figures, so who knows, I may end up drawing some scenes from the role play... ;p ))
    The orange colored tiger seemed to wander endlessly for hours, and during those few hours, many thoughts crossed her mind. Each one of them seemed trivial in the grand scheme of the world. She thought to herself of her odd ways, why she couldn’t just accept it as others of her kind have begun to. Perhaps it had been her upbringing which caused her to think in such a way, and she never had the right influence to change how she felt. But a good portion of her had heard too many tales of hurt and broken hearts. Not that separating herself from humanoid society wasn’t doing that. She thought of going back to Faydark, where the Tunare’s influence was strong, there, she had heard of such acceptance that she so desperately wanted, but again, because of the tales told to her by her grandfather, a part of her was deeply afraid to travel there.
    All these thoughts that seemed so trivial were instantly stopped when the smell of a scorched flesh reached her keen feline nose, and because of this, she stopped. Her claws dug into the earth mercilessly and her nose scrunched up – the smell was horrid, and made her think to turn around, but she was a wanderer, and she did not travel the same path twice, thus forward her paws took her, yet cautiously they did so, not that it did any good.
    She heard them say, “Is that a tiger out there?” And in that moment she crouched low to the ground and froze. Burnt body and people around, she didn’t know if they were the culprits or not, and a fear that they were made her fur stand on end. Yes, think I’m a warder, she growled lowly, and leave. If Henar were here, perhaps the chances of her passing for one would increase.
    And dear sweet Drakota of Licerous’ he was nearby. Her ears pricked forward at the familiar site of that feline. Maybe his keen Kerran nose led him here as well. Speak of the devil and they shall appear.
    ****************
    ((This was the guy I wanted to bring in. haha, for such a purpose, I guess now is as good as any to introduce him…In a less than stellar way. :U Not as good as the others… but oh well, let’s see where this takes us.))
    Henar, a long-time friend of Licerous’ (and perhaps one of the only ones) was usually her saving grace, and had it not been for her Drakota bringing him to Licerous, she might have been in trouble. Perhaps the Drakota had happened upon the scene before the Warden had. “Smart dragon,” he praised the black-scaled beast. “Now off with you. I have a hide to save.” Usually he was her saving grace in the sense he kept her from having to have encounters with people. They were much liable to leave her alone if she were with a Beastlord such as himself. So this was a scene very familiar to the tiger –colored Kerran. He simply followed the drill as he always had. He would come looking for his lost warder and take her away, perhaps let her stay with him a few days as to not draw suspicion.
    He wasn’t too afraid of the ones surrounding the burnt body, he was well in plain sight, with bow and an arrow at the ready, a Drakota in the air, and a Warden not too far off either.
    Slowly he approached the group of people and with a swift bow, introduced himself though they might have not given any indication for him to approach. “Excuse me, but have any of you seen young Kodiaks nearby? I was hunting with my warder and we chanced upon one… got a good shot at it, but I’m afraid I might have misjudged slightly, you see, it ran away injured, and I’m not cruel Kerran, I’ll see the beast’s swift end… if I can find it.” And he knew Licerous did not want to, but for the sake of the act, he knew she should be by his side. No one was going to make a necklace out of one of her claws if he had something to say about it. "There you are," he said. "Did you find anything, Rous?" he then asked, and he knew Licerous would play along.
    *****************************
    He was to go on his merry way, leading his demonic horse behind him, when all of a sudden a stir was quickly seen out of the corner of his right eye. His nightmarish horse stamped its foot in agitation when the odd thing landed next to them. What in the world? Obviously upon closer inspection of the odd flying thing, it turned out to be a Halfing. “The world…,” he had seen such strange contraptions before, but not up close. Most of the time he had no care for such a thing, but he’d be lying if the Halfing didn’t intrigue him. It’s not every day one lands next to you on the road. In an odd way, the look he was giving her was considered polite, at least for him. He looked at her with sort of an odd expression on his face. One that didn’t show concern for her landing or much care at all… merely a slightly interested glance, and a glace that said he was debating whether or not she was worthy enough to consider.
    The way she seemed to jump from apologizing to staring at his steed was enough to interest him. Normally his mount was enough to send people away from him, and yet she found it fascinating it seemed. “Pretty indeed,” he rasped. “But not as pretty as those wings.” He had the opportunity in front of him to find out more about them, so why not? And not that he could think much of anything else to say, not at the sudden landing and meeting.
    Ross took a deep breath and finished writing down the statement. She leaned back in the chair and ran her fingers through her blonde hair, thinking. She tapped her foot for a moment and then leaned forward. "Ziqua, would you be willing to tell your story in court?"
    Sylvie looked from Anna to Elena. "We can take her to the infirmary. Where is this Inquisitor?"
    Captain Alderman tapped the Kerra on the shoulder. "You should, perhaps take a seat."
    ***
    Bella giggled. "Oh, we's doesn't needs thems." She began to spoon the fayberries into the dough. "Turnips is the names of the Othmir who I's agreeds to takes in to teach. She shoulds be arrivings by boats next Feastdays. I's hads almost forgottens."
    "The son and the cat both worked diligently on the ship and they stayed on for many journeys across the Sea of Tears. One day though the ship docked at an island for emergency repairs after a storm had damaged the mizzen mast. The son and the cat went out to search for materials and they came across a village in the forest."
    Rothgut smiled. "You's is ins goods paws withs hers."
    Aleteriq nodded. He paused and then reached over, wrapping his arms around Alyerra's waist in a hug, careful not to touch the side with the wound. "I will pray to Rodcet Nife to help you get better."
    Rene smiled to see Aleteriq's care. Alaric turned and answered the door. He stepped back and motioned the two in. "You are the Druid, correct?"
    ***
    Padparadisch grunted. "Grumpy? That sounds like a Dwarven name." He frowned and looked out at Qeynos slipping over the horizon. He pondered why he had not ever gone by a different name since coming to Qeynos for the purpose of hiding. He supposed he still had quite a bit of his Teir'dal pride and had not wanted to let go of his name, even if it made him easier to track down. He had seen his name in glittering spell-letters over the Nightsong Opera House, heard it shouted from the balconies on opening night; the roar of applause as he was introduced. His name and voice had been reknowned throughout Neriak's dark streets. He had come home to roses, gifts and notes of admiration nearly every night. Women had thrown themselves at him, despite Vanimor's best efforts to keep them away. Queen Cristanos herself had invited him to sing at her palace and, more than once had watched a performance at the Opera House. He felt his chest swell with the memories, but then his hand went to his throat and his eyes grew cold again. "I am Padparadisch Padatasch." He affirmed in his raspy voice.
    Norna waved to the newcomer. "No, I don't think we've seen any Kodiaks today. Do you need any help finding the poor thing?"
    Herrigan looked up from his grim task. "If you want to come with us, you are welcome. Although, do you think that Koada'dal will be alright? He went off on his own, didn't he?"
