    Telsi nodded.
    Calish smiled “She's on a mission. It's how her mind works. If she has a mission or something to think about she can be very focused.”
    Simon thought for a moment “If I were to press charges then the guard could help?”
    “I'll accept resources,” Telsi answered “But I'm not traveling with clankers.” she looked towards Herrigan “I would suggest you give the other one to Lieutenant Delmion. It will help him regain consciousness. I don't think it will dull his pain though.”
    ~~~~~
    Alyerra stood and nodded “The other room might be good,” she said out loud. Through the stone she told Llew “I don't want Alteriq to see this. With all he's been through... and I trust her somehow to understand.”
    ~~~~
    Canty nodded. “Thanks yous,”
    Kyriu stopped in front of the Tainted Eagle and opened the door.
    “Kyriu, Timothy was asking about you.” Senri said as Kyriu entered. Her eyes widened at all the people. “Oh... Shiasia I'm going to go make more food....”
    “Bella has offered to help in the kitchen.” Kyriu said.
    Senri nodded “Thank you.” she looked around as the Ratonga parents ushered their children to be seated. Colby sat down with three of his boys while Calarys sat down with the other 2 boys.
    Canty sat a table and set Fayberry next to her.
    Tetri sighed “I think I should be going.”
    “Nos please stays Greats Aunts Tetri.” Fayberry pleaded.
    Kyriu turned to Dan. “So I guess we're off to see your grandparents. Ready?”
    ~~~~
    Xia nodded. “How long till we leave?” she had managed to stop crying “I should tell Mama where I'm going... well that I have a job and I'm going to be traveling. I don't want to worry her.” she thought for a moment “Are there any other Freeblood in your crew? Or would I be the first?”
    ~~~~~
    Brienae finished breakfast with her family before gliding upstairs to check on Nordri. “Sorry I didn't make it up here sooner,” she apologized to the Dwarf "... Mother likes to ask questions and gossip. If you're feeling better the others are at the Tainted Eagle.”

    Ross nodded her head. "Only if the crime was commited in the juri-juris-diction of the Qeynos Guard or against one of our citizens."
    Norna frowned at her sister. "You've not slept, have you?"
    Ross took a deep breath. "I am fine."
    "You're struggling with words. You do that when tired." She pointed out.
    Herrigan looked down at the rabbit, who looked back up with big brown eyes. "Of course." He said a little bit uneasy.
    ***
    Rene nodded. "Excuse us." She went into the sitting room and set the bandages down on a little side table beside the couch.
    Llew spoke through the stone. 'I hope so.'
    ***
    Bella grinned at Senri. "The littles ones likes fayberries ands jummy-jums so I's was thinking maybes muffins and turnovers?"
    "Dun encourage 'er ter stay!" Hoddmimir grumbled.
    Danlore took a deep breath. "No. But I guess that can't be helped. Can't really put it off."
    ***
    "There's been one or two in me crew afore. See, we're not exactly picky 'bout race an' all." She took the mug and dipped it into the sink. "If yer wan' ter go see yer Mum we're leavin' from th' harbour at noon. Ay need ter go 'roun' up th' others an' see who we've go' wit us this outin'."
    ***
    Nordri stretched. "Aye, pay it nae heed, lassie. Uh-yer kin if th' Eagle be servin' any brekkist ales? Ay thin' it be more o' a Dwarven thin' an' mos' Tavvies dun 'ave 'em 'less there be a Dwarf on th' rolls."

    Simon nodded “We were in Thundering Steppes when... Kayla died.”
    “Thundering Steppes is Neutral Territory,” Telsi answered.
    “But she was a Qeynos Citizen.” Simon continued. He looked at the Captain “That means you can help then?”
    Telsi nodded. She rolled her eyes at Herrigan “Calish could you assist the Lieautenant?”
    “Of course,” Calish answered as he gently took the rabbit from the Barbarian “When dating a Freeblood you get used the idea that you can never have pets.” he whispered to Herrigan. To the rabbit he said “Sorry little guy,” he knelt by Gregor and took out a dagger. He neatly sliced the animals neck and gently used a finger to to pry open the unconscious Freeblood's mouth to allow the blood to flow into it. His movements seemed natural as though he had done this before.
    Telsi turned her head and focused on her mission rather than the smell.
    ~~~~
    Alyerra followed Rene into the sitting room. She knew that her previous bandage was soaked with a gel like blood. She lifted her tunic enough to show the old bandage. She swallowed “Thank you for doing this,” she whispered.
    ~~~
    “That sounds fine.” Senri answered. She turned and started walking towards the kitchen.
    Tetri sat at the table with Canty and Fayberry.
    “Canty why don'ts yous goes helps?” Calarys asked in a voice that sounded more insistant.
    “I-I don'ts knows... I's thinks I'ds bes ins the ways...”
    Calarys glanced between Bella and Canty hoping maybe her niece's new teacher would start sooner than later.
    Kyriu nodded “The highest platform is this way,” she turned and headed that direction.
    ~~~
    Xia nodded “Alright. I'll see you then.” she sighed as she pulled a cloak out of her bag and wrapped it around her shoulders and pulled up the hood before dashing out of the guild hall.
    ~~~~
    “I honestly don't know,” Brienae answered. Her face turned red in a blush “I haven't been to many taverns and my parents were not pleased when one came up in conversation...” she sighed “When ever you're ready I think I remember how to get there though...”
  4. ARCHIVED-llewenayah Guest

    Ross took a moment to think, averting her eyes from Herrigan, who looked morose. "The Qeynos Guard patrols the Thundering Steppes. It is within our jurisdiction, though limited."
    ***
    Rene frowned and leaned down to examine the wound. "Oh, dear, I think this might be infected." She reached out and began to undo the knot.
    Alaric stood and cleared the table, putting everthing back on the tray and carrying it into the kitchen.
    Toska kicked her feet, which did not touch the ground.
    ***
    Bella caught the look. "Can'ts has too manys helpings paws in the kitchens." She turned to Senri. "Is Miss. Senri's kitchen though."
    Danlore nodded. "Thank you." He set off after her.
    ***
    Del left the hall herself and started towards the Harbour, checking off in her head where everyone said they were going and where she suspected some of them to really be.
    ***
    Nordri nodded with a chuckle. "Ay'll 'ave ter keep tha' in min' if Ay chatter wit yer Mum an' Da again." He stood and stretched. "Well, if yer ready, Ay am."

    “Interesting I didn't know that.” Telsi said hiding the shock in her voice.
    “So I just need to press charges and also we were abducted in Antonica... I know Qeynos has jurisdiction there,” Simon continued seeming excited.
    Telsi turned “Does that really matter?” she asked “I mean Uncle Nedrid is already wanted for murder which normally means his own death. The only reason I'm agreeing to this is because I see now that he must pay for his crimes and he has no regard for anyone not even me...” she sighed “My actions could mean he dies and I live with that for the rest of my life.”
    “But it's right!” Simon protested.
    Telsi nodded “Yes but he's still my Uncle.” she studied the boy “His death won't make you feel better immediately.”
    “What do you know? You're a dead Assassin. I thought you made your living by vengeance.”
    Telsi swallowed “There are other ways an Assassin like myself can make a living.” she failed to hide the hurt in her voice. “Captain, I know that the Eye of Bayle is contingent of Assassins who work for the Queen directly. It is my dream to join them... but they're rather strict in their selection.” she sighed “I was wondering if I could start here. I'm sure my skills could prove useful for the guard.”
    Gregor opened his eyes and swallowed the blood convulsively. He caught a glimpse of Herrigan out of the corner of his eye and his face paled in shame.
    ~~~~
    Alyerra frowned as the thought crossed her mind if that was possible. She swallowed before speaking in a voice which was soft enough she hoped to not carry to the other room “I guess I should be honest... I'm a vampire, a Freeblood more specifically.” she swallowed again before continuing “I can't be healed like most people.” she blinked back tears.
    ~~~~~
    “Fine with me,” Senri answered
    “Buts buts...”
    “Canty dos as yours Aunts says,” Colby ordered.
    Fayberry slid off her cousin's lap and crawled into Tetri's. “Nows yous cans gos helps,” the tiny Ratonga said as she snuggled into the old Ratonga's lap.
    Canty sighed and stood up to follow.
    Senri disappeared in the kitchen. She started taking down ingredients to be more in reach of her Ratonga aids.
    ~~~~
    Xia pulled out a drum and summoned a stone carved feline. She boarded the large cat. She knew many bards preferred to run, but she had discovered Stoney and formed a bond so if she rode she didn't mind. “Hi Stoney been awhile,” she whispered as she sat in the saddle on the stone cat's back.
    The stone cat growled before taking off.
    Xia stopped and dismissed her friend when they reached South Qeynos. She made sure her hood was concealing her face before she continued walking past the Nettleville entrance.
    “Young man I have lived among Freeblood for nearly thirty years! You dare to tell me what they are?”
    Xia dashed beyond the corner and sighed “Mama,”
    “Now I demand you let me in there!” the old woman demanded.
    Xia whistled three times.
    To most of those gathered it sounded like a bird.
    The old woman paused “Hmph I still think this is disgusting.” she turned and headed around the corner.
    “Xiaminara, I've been so worried, I thought...” she hugged her daughter.
    “I have a new job,” Xia told her.
    “Oh, tell me about it, first, did you find him? Is he alright?”
    Xia swallowed “I found him but he's...”
    Her mother nodded “I've heard about the Freeblood in there, I had hoped he would...” she sniffed “Let's go I want away from this awful place.”
    “I'm going to be traveling. Sailing the world.” Xia said trying to cheer her mother as they walked.
    “Sailing?” the old woman beamed “When I was your age I would sail the sea. Mind I sailed for a noble cause.” she sighed “Not that you're not child. I would free slaves. Bondage Breaker Betty they called me back then.”
    Xia made a mental note to ask Del if she had ever heard of Bondage Breaker Betty.
    “We leave at Noon,”
    Betty nodded “I'll be seeing you off then. Come, I'm rather thirsty.” they continued into Qeynos Harbor.
    ~~~~~
    Brienae nodded “I was thinking about leaving now.” she said before she turned and glided towards the door.

    "Who, specifically commited the kidnapping?" Ross patted Herrigan on the shoulder. She regreted sending him out, remembering what a big softy he was when it came to small animals.
    ***
    Rene stepped back suddenly. She took a moment to think.
    ***
    Bella grinned at Canty. "I's will shows you's how to makes the fillings for the turnovers, is really easy-s."
    Danlore bit his lip as they walked through Kelethin. He had been nine when his parents had died and his grandparents had always seemed like distant and cold villans to him at the time. Llew had never wanted to talk about them, but he new that she had sent letters.
    ***
    Del went into Fish's Alehouse to check first. She found some of her crew there, playing cards and nodded to them. They returned the motion, drained their mugs and left for the ship. She glanced up the stairs and started up.
    ***
    "Aye." Nordri followed her.

    Simon turned to Telsi.
    “I have no idea,” the Assassin answered “And it would have been something you would expect to encounter... Antonica you probably saw Gnolls.”
    “Yeah, but, I don't think they were real Gnolls.” Simon added.
    “No they weren't. I know that much. That's all I know though.” Telsi answered.
    “You're lying!” Simon shouted.
    Telsi quirked an eyebrow “I'm not stupid. There's at least 2 Paladins here, with the Iksar Lie detector somewhere around here it would be suicide to lie about anything.”
    Simon glared at her.
    Telsi sighed and looked at the Captain “I have no idea who was in charge of pick up,” she said meeting the Captain's eyes. She was being honest.
    Kyriu stopped on the highest platform and waited for Danlore.
    ~~~~~
    “I'm sorry...” Alyerra said when she saw the woman step back . She assumed she had scared the woman.“I only feed on animals.”
    ~~~~~
    Canty sighed “Okays, I guess we shoulds be gettings ins the kitchens thens.”
    Senri took set out some Faeberries and Jumjum. She closed her eyes as she waited. In her mind she was with her young daughter trying to Alyerra how to cook. She smiled remembering a brief time she'd had Kyriu in the kitchen.
    ~~~~~~
    Xia followed her mother into The Fish's Alehouse.
    “I was worried they'd have torn this place down,” she said as she walked over to the counter and bought a drink.
    Xia shook her head “Mama...”
    The old woman sighed “Poor girl you wouldn't understand. I haven't had a good drink since you were born. Not that blame you.” she took a swig of the brew. Then she held her daughter's chin “I wouldn't trade the time with you or your Father for the world. Those people who call themselves the circle now I have a mind to strap them by their...”
    “Mama!” Xia exclaimed “Promise me you won't do anything rash while I'm gone.”
    The old woman frowned “I suppose I won't. My skills aren't what they used to be.” she slowly walked over to an empty table where Xia joined her. “Now remember all ships have rats. Usually they'll be bilge rats, but you can feed on those. There will be plenty of them,”
    “I know Mama,”
    “Does your Captain know?”
    “Yes she does,”
    “Good.”
    ~~~~
    Brienae waited at the bottom of the stairs.
    “Where are you off to now?” Mianette asked.
    “Sir Nordri needs to meet his family and I told him I'd escort him there.”
    Henris sighed “If you must, but don't stay long.”
    Brienae nodded.
    “Look after her please?” Mianette asked Nordri “She's our only daughter.”
    Brienae blushed a deep red.

    Ross nodded. "Then we will investigate the reports of kidnapping in Antonica and, if we happen across your Uncle in the investigation then we will bring him in on charges in connection to kidnapping and murder."
    ***
    Danlore caught up and looked around. "That one. The one with morning glories in the window, I'd wager."
    Rene looked up at Alyerra, her eyes narrowing. "And...how exactly did you save my grandson, then?" She glanced at the door to the other room. "You didn't...turn him, did you?"
    ***
    Bella grinned. "Thank yous, Miss. Senris." She looked around. "Okays, so firsts we's needs four cups of fayberries ands sugars, waters, cornstarch ands somes salts."
    ***
    Del knocked on a door and waited, but got no answer. She knocked louder. "Ay know yer in there!" She called loudly.
    ***
    Nordri bowed and nodded, thinking it best not to point out that her little girl did not seem to need his help looking after herself.

    (( *frowns* I'm.. somewhat back, been busy, a bit of head trauma here and there (yay! it was just cooking pans luckily).. after Bri posts, could one of you please repost for me? :S ))
  10. ARCHIVED-llewenayah Guest

    ((Ssen! Welcome back! So sorry to hear about the injury I hope you're feeling better soon.
    I'll re-post the last entries for the other scenes and Bri can continue them in her next post so that you can jump back in. We moved the Tainted Eagle scene ahead a little, but other than that we haven't touched any of the scenes you were participating in.))
    Brienae:
    “Better,” Carl answered “Thanks.” he pulled himself up with his hands and blinked “Sam?”
    Sam nodded.
    “You're really here?” Carl asked. “I'm not losing my mind?”
    Tim spoke “He's really here.”
    “So now what?” Carl asked “I know what's happening... now what do I do?”
    Ethan smiled “Understandable,”
    “We'll help you however we can,” Zach said “Have you filled out your paperwork yet?”
    ~~~~
    The Captain frowned as he sensed a letter had arrived. He glided to the mail box and read. He wrote a response:
    Thank you, Captain Grayhaze, I think the Mystic would be the safest... although what a priest did to land in prison I can not imagine. Our prisoner is a Coercer and has attempted to charm my men a few times already. I will send some of my strongest men to escort him. Or I might come myself. Thank you again for your help.
    Captain Yenter Wispwing
    He sealed it with the the symbol of the Kelethin guard and placed the letter in the mailbox. “If he stays unconscious this will be easy. If he does not... I need people with me who can fight his charm.”
    “He might develop memory loss and forget how to cast at this rate.” the sergeant sighed as he saw the blood.
    ~~~~~~
    Galabrin knelt down “I promise you it is not a dream.” he answered.
    Relane returned with the grilled lion sandwich and gave it to Stimsia “Here you go dear,” she said. “I hope you like it.”

    Ssen
    Lamia glanced up at Brienae and nodded in understand8ng, whilst following the other Fae into the kitchen. Her stomach growled in hunger at the mention of pastries and fruit.
    "T-Thanks.. I could use a bit of food.." Lamia said quietly. Her tail twitched and she smiled.
    ===================
    Stinsmia sobbed for a good minute or so, her head buried in Gelabrin's shirt, staining it with tears. She calmed down and rubbed her eyes in a child-like manner. She looked up at Relane and smiled weakly, taking the sandwich slowly. She stared at it for a moment before starting to nibble. The nibbles though eventually became ravenous bites until she finished the food completely. She idly bounced on the balls of her feet.
    "U-Uhm... What now, mama and daddy..?" she asked quietly. She gave a small tug to her collar and frowned..
    ===================
    Zulgah groaned softly, his unconscious form curling together into a lump of scales
    =================
    Shiasia shivered and nodded in response.
    "I-If yous says sos miss Senris..." she sighed weakly. She did her best to put on a smile, in an effort to not seem depressed. Her hand reached over and she began to eat another piece of Kelethin toast. Her other hand ran down her baby's head very slowly, feeling of the small gray hairs that were starting to grow.
    "Easy.. He's not here, alright? You're perfectly safe.." came a quiet male Iksar's voice. Two Iksars, male and female stepped into the tavern slowly. The male gently helped the female to a bar stool and helped her sit down. Tsalvenisss (male Iksar's name) was completely clad in foreign looking armour, whilst his partner was dressed like that of a Mhaj'Dul noblewoman. The female also wore a blindfold.
    Tsalveniss gave a nod of acknowledgement to the people around.
    ====================
    Jhyiskitches yawned softly and glanced at Tim. He nodded.
    "Yis, yis I did. Right heres in fact." he replied, holding up a small stack of papers.
    Bella

    Ginnar stepped back to let the brothers talk.
    Ross paused by the postbox to wait for a reply. She felt the pang and opened the box, pulling out and reading the letter. She sent a quick reply.
    'The charges against the priestess have been leveled against her by a citizen and she willingly came here to clear her name. I do no see her as causing you trouble. Considering he is a Coercer I will call the aid of an Illusionist to combat anything your prisoner may do.
    -Captain Ross Grayhaze'
    She folded it and slipped it into the postbox, then turned, writing another and slipping it in too.
  11. ARCHIVED-lisemanta Guest

    (( Welcome back Ssen! Really glad to see you again. My apologies for leaving out the other scenes when I first posted this. I've added them now and look forward to your responses.))
    “I understand.” Telsi answered.
    “I saw people die there once we were there, does that count as murder?” Simon asked.
    Calish gave the rabbit to Gregor who was now able to sit up. He walked over to Telsi and held her. “She's already told your Captain all she knows and it almost cost her life.”
    “She's dead already!” Simon protested.
    Telsi looked down. She didn't know what to say.
    Gregor seemed almost as morose as the Barbarian as he looked guiltily at the bleeding creature.
    ~~~~
    Kyriu nodded “Then why don't you knock since it's your family?”
    Alyerra blinked “No of course not! I wouldn't wish my curse on anyone especially not a child.” she sighed “There was an energy that was within him. It was killing him. Llew discovered a way to transfer the energy. The problem was it had to go somewhere. I volunteered to take the energy into my own body. I did that because I was the only one that could.” she met the woman's eyes “I can feed and heal some of the damage it does to me because it's not divine. I won't lie it burns sometimes, but given the choice again, I would do it again.”
    ~~~~
    “Sugar is on the left corner shelf the bottom one,” Senri said as she pointed to the corner in question. “The Salt is on the opposite shelf.”
    Canty sighed and walked over to the shelf left shelf “I can'ts reach.”
    “There's a stool next to the counter,” Senri said. “Actually there's a stool on either side. The two of you can each use,” Canty grabbed the stool and slid it so she could reach the sugar.
    Senri pulled down the cornstarch from the shelf in front of her.
    Calarys saw the baby in the corner and walked over. She looked at the Ratonga waitress "Is this your's?" she asked.
    ~~~~
    Bettana grinned “Sounds like someone's in trouble,” she sighed
    Xia thought she recognized Del's voice and stood.
    “No, best let them deal with it.” Bettana informed her daughter. She finished her drink and ordered another.
    “Mama I don't think...”
    Bettana shook her head “As I said haven't had a good brew since you were born.” she took another swig after the drink was brought “Now if anyone makes unwanted advances you give im what he deserves.”
    “I will Mama,”
    ~~~~
    Brienae curtsied to her parents before gliding out the door.
    “Thank you,” Mianetta answered. She curtsied to the dwarf while her husband bowed.
    ~~~~~
    "Well I need to be going to the guardhouse anyway," Zach said "You're welcome to join me,"
    "I'm tired of laying here..." Carl said "Is there anyway that I can go somewhere without being carried?"
    Tim nodded. He dashed out of the room and returned with the wheel chair.
    "Or..." Carl looked at the Paladin "I know your brother said he couldn't heal my back but maybe you could?"
    ~~~~
    Captain Yenter wrote his reply after reading the letter from the Captain. "We'll meet by the Druid Rings in Antonica." he put the letter in the mailbox. He wrote another letter and set it in the mailbox to his Niece.
    The corpral was holding his sword over the Iksar "Shall I hit him again sir?"
    "Depends," the Fae Captain glided to the bars "If you can be good and I mean no trying to cast we won't hit you again. If you can not, then we will have no choice. Do you understand?"
    ~~~~
    "Well Daddy needs to be heading back to work, but you and I can play together" Relane said.
    Gelabrin nodded "I'll also get the nescceary paperwork," he said. He smiled at his new daughter. "You'll be safe here." he knelt down and hugged her.
    ~~~
    Finara watched Lamia eat the Fruit. "Would you like to stay here or do you have somewhere else you can go?" she asked.
  12. ARCHIVED-Squeakybrigand Guest

    Lamia thought for a moment, chewing slowly as she processed. She shook her head 'no'. "Yes and nos, miss. I do, but the kerran friend of mine..." she swallowed her food "He's is a gypsy. He isn't easilys founds.." she explained. She finished the food in her hand and frowned. =================== Shiasia nearly jumped in surprise when she heard someone speak to her. She turned around and ran a paw slowly down her son's cheek, whispering to him. A few words could be made out "Such ... beautiful boy... Coming into world...not so much.." she nodded to Calarys in response to the question. The female iksar turned her blind eyes to her guard and leaned her hea against his shoulder. "Do you have Tunarian white wine? M'lady does love her fine drinks!" the male said with a chuckle. He whisspered soothing words to his charge, as she still seemed tense. Alucard, the satyr was still in his seat. He pulled out from his pack some panpipes. He began playing them softly, somehow also adding in the calming ambient sounds of bird calls. This was meant to soothe and calm the surroundings. ===================== Zulgahr rubbed his forehead and nodded weakly. "Fine, sssssoftsssskin!" he spat angrily, crossing his arms and sighing. ===================== Stinsmia hugged her father and reluctantly let go of him. "I-I love you daddy and mama." she strained out hoarsely, not used to saying such a thing. Plus she had been trained to keep quiet. She looked to her mother and shuffled her feet idly. "W-What can we play, mama?" she asked softly

    Ross looked to Simon. "Put it in your report." She strode to a desk and pulled out some papers, sliding them towards the Squire.
    "Uh-Ross, wasn't there something about a prisoner exchange?"
    The Captain looked over at her sister. "That's right." She went to the postbox and checked it, pulling out another letter. "Norna, you should go to the Druid Rings in Antonica." She glanced up. "Herrigan, go with her."
    "Yes, Captain!" Herrigan saluted.
    Norna turned so that her sister would not see her roll her eyes.
    ***
    Danlore started. "Oh! Yes, right. My family." He started towards the door, hesitated and continued. Standing before the house he raised his hand, hesitated again and sighed. "Here goes." He muttered.
    Alaric, engrossed in the task of wiping the table and avoiding further conversation, looked up as he heard knocking. Without a word he exited into the hall and straightened his robes, opening the door. "May I help you?"
    Danlore's face turned the color of his robes. "Uh-I'm-I'm Danlore Redmantle and-"
    "We have been expecting you." Alaric stepped back to let them in. "You will find your sister that way." He motioned towards the dining room.
    Rene took a moment and then nodded to the wound. "And so, how do we mend this, then? The bandage does not seem to be doing much."
    ***
    Bella moved the other stool and retrieved the salt. "Okays, nows we's cuts ups the berries."
    Aloysiius tapped his foot, enjoying the music.
    ***
    Del folded her arms. "Ay'm nae leavin'!" She called, hearing movement inside the apartment. "Ay kin 'ear yer!"
    The door popped open and Padparadisch's face, twisted with anger, leaned out. "Between you and the Bard I get not a moments peace!" He growled, slamming a fist against the doorframe. "Why is it that neither of you understand what 'hermit' means?"
    "A 'ermit be a crab, an' yer as crabby as usual."
    "I need a drink." He spat at her, pushing past and heading down the stairs.
    ***
    Ginnar shook his head. "Nay, Ay be the worst o' all me brodders at 'ealin', if one o' em said they cannae do it, than there me no reason fer me ter expect ter."

    Simon accepted the papers and began to fill them out.
    Telsi sighed “I'm going to need some help tracking him down. And I know who can help me.” she frowned “Of course there is that issue of paperwork to make us citizens,”
    Calish nodded “Speaking of which... why fill it out twice?”
    Telsi turned to him and raised an eyebrow.
    “If we went ahead and married now, you'd only need to fill out the paper work for Telsianya Matriel.”
    “True Fenris does seem to be developing a negative connotation.” she sighed again “And it's not like we have any friends or family that we need to contact.”
    Calish smiled and kissed her forehead. “Captain can you legally perform weddings?” he asked.
    ~~~~
    Kyriu followed Danlore. “Kyriu Flamefist,” she introduced herself with a bow to the High-Elf.
    Alyerra bit her lip exposing a fang. “I don't know,” she sighed. “I've only been a Freeblood for a year. There's a lot I still don't know.”
    ~~~~
    Canty nodded.
    Senri took down some muffin tins. “I had made Kelethin toast, but there's none left. It's been a long time since I had this place so full.”
    Calarys smiled “He's goings tos grows ups strongs. I have sevens pinkies myselfs.” she sighed “Boys cans bes handfuls. Trusts mes I's knows. I haves six boys and ones girls.”
    Fayberry slid off of Tetri's lap and started dancing to the music.
    ~~~~
    Xia turned as she heard someone angrily coming downstairs. “I wonder why he's so angry?”
    “Pay it no mind,” Bettana warned. She sighed as her daughter stood anyway.
    Her hood fell as she stood. “I just want to say hi,” she answered with a smile
    Another patron saw her fangs and walked over to the table “We don't need no blood suckers here,” he growled. “You won't find anyone willing to donate here.”
    Xia blinked “I don't know what you're talking about.”
    The man grabbed her wrist “We never should have let you in this city. I have a mind to turn you into the circle of ten.”
    Bettana stood “And I have a mind to box your ears if you don't unhand my daughter!”
    ~~~~
    Carl sighed “It was the Mystic I asked the first time.” he looked at the chair “I suppose it'll do for now,” he grumbled.
    Sam began to sign again. A look of frustration crossed his face as Carl looked away from him and Tim didn't seem to follow. He concentrated and spoke in the minds of the three in the room “It's an odd blessing. Carl can hold evil weapons and not be be tempted to wield them. These weapons are intelligent. They don't want to be wielded by someone who can't walk.”
    “Sam that's not comforting.” Carl muttered as he pulled himself into the chair.
    “Jyiskitches?” Zach asked “Are you okay?”
    ~~~~~
    Brienae paused as she felt the familiar sense that she had a letter. She sighed and stopped at a mail box and read. “I have somewhere I need to be,” she told Nordri. I believe if you continue that way you'll come to Tavern.” the acorn could be seen in the distance.
    ~~~~
    “We are going to transfer you to a facility in Qeynos where they currently have better security.” he sighed “As soon as my niece gets here we'll leave.” he narrowed his eyes.
    ~~~~~
    “Hm well you are welcome to stay here as long as you need,” Finara said.
    Lamia blinked and nodded to Finara in response. She couldn't help but accept the rather generous offer. "Gee thanks..!" said Lamia, for she knew nothing else to say. ======================== Shiasia smilled back weakly at Calarys. She picked the plates up again and delivered them to a table. One of the men just barely managed a tug at her tail. The Ratongess' eyes widened and she jumped in fright, dropping a separate plate by accident. "Didn't mean to scare you, miss.. I merely needed to get your moment's attention. I just wanted to know why you seem so upset, and if there might be something I could do to help..." a male arasai asked kindly. Despite being still in his teenager years, the young man was awfully polite. Unsure of how to react or what to say, Shia' merely blushed intensely and stood there, seming frozen. She tried to process the situation. Alucard kept a wary eye on said arasai, wanting to make sure he caused the waitress no ill bearings. The satyr's panpipe music turned to a low, rattling hiss-like sound, whille he turned to directly look at the arasai. The sound from his instrument was a warning to any and all who had ill intents. The two iksars at the bar counter exchanged words via words (on the male's part) and Norrathian Sign Language (on the female's part) "You will be able to speak soon, m'lady Most High... Just wait.." the male assured the Maj'Dul nobless. ================= Zulgahr grunted and frowned, sighing. "Fine..." he growled. ================= Stinsmia awaited her mother's response. =================== Vhyrenia and her husband sat in their bed, quietly reminiscing. "Remember when we first met..?" the freeblood asked softly. Vhyrenia smiled and nodded. "Yes... You attacked me in that alley of Freeport.. Nearly drained me to death.. But.. You kept me alive, dearest.." she whispered back, running a paw through her husband's white hair.
    Norna and Herrigan stepped outside while Ross frowned. "No, I-well, maybe? To tell you the truth the issue had never come up."
    Outside the Illusionist and Guardian set off for the North Qeynos Gate, passing the giant Claymore monument.
    ***
    Alaric nodded. "Welcome to our home." He said stiffly.
    Danlore paused and went into the other room, glad to see his sister and brother.
    "H-hello, D-d-danny!" Aleteriq waved from the table. Danlore stepped forward and ruffled the boy's freshly combed hair affectionatly.
    "Hey there, kiddo!"
    Rene shook her head. "That wound needs someone who knows about this sort of thing to take a look. I don't know about Freebloods myself, but that cannot possably be good."
    ***
    Bella grinned. "I's has never founds a recipe for Kelly-thin Toasts, I's woulds be willings to trades one of my recipes for its." She found a kni8fe abd began to deftly cut off the tiny green leaves from the tops of the Fayberries.
    Hoddmimir shook his head. Even he knew not to pull on a Ratonga's tail. He'd gotten more than his fair share of trouble from that sort of thing. He glanced at Rothgut, who sat at one table with his head down.
    Aloysiius turned sharply as the music changed.
    ***
    Del and Padparadisch came arguing down the stairs.
    "Yer need ter git out inter th' worl' more!"
    "A hermit does not need to get out; a hermit needs to stay in his house, alone and without nattering tree-elves and garrulous crooners to bother him!"
    "Aw, come on! Yer live in th' 'Arbour! Th' 'Arbour fer Prexus' sake! Dun tell me yer dun stair ou' o' th' window a' th' horizon, wonderin' wha's ou' there!"
    The Teir'dal glared at her, his already damaged and hoarse voice taking on a more gutteral tone. "I live in the Harbour so that I can make a quick escape! I stare so that I know when my enemies are coming and if you and that blasted Bard keep bothering me I'll stare so that I know when to slip out the window for someplace more pleasant than your company-like the sewers!" Anger clouding his vision, he did not see the man holding Xia's wrist and walked right into him.
    ***
    Ginnar nodded. "Nae comfortin', but it soun's righ'." He looked at Carl. "Per'aps, if yer kin't be corrupted, yer kin redeem yerself by turnin' corruption inter Justice."
    ***
    Nordri nodded. "Ay unnerstan'. Yer take care o' yerself, Lady." He bowed his head of thinning hair to the Fae.
    ((Sorry it took me so long to post... I've been struggling with severe writer's block the past few days.))
    Calish frowned.
    “We could go to the temple.” Telsi suggested “I'm fine as long as they don't try to heal me.”
    Calish smiled “I know we were supposed to be escorted to the registration office to fill out paperwork, but you object to a slight detour?”
    ~~~~
    Kyriu straightened and sighed. She was unsure as to whether she should follow Dan or not.
    “The problem is who to ask?”
    Upon hearing Alyerra's voice Kyriu headed into the room. “What did you to now Aly?” she asked.
    Alyerra turned “Nothing this time. Just a divine injury that doesn't want to be healed and I am not asking a Necromancer.”
    Kyriu continued into the room. She bowed to Rene “Kyriu Flamefist,” she introduced herself. “I'm a friend of Dan's and Llew's.”
    ~~~~
    “Well I have noticed that more Ratonga are moving into Kelethin and well... I don't have many cheese recipes.”
    Fayberry stopped in her dance when the music changed. Having not seen what happened she thought possibly she had done something wrong. She blinked questioning eyes at the Satyr.
    Limberger slipped out of his chair and walked quietly over to Alloysius and pulled on the bard's tunic to get his attention.
    The other Ratonga children slid out of their seats and to get a better look at the satyr. Their faces were filled with wonder as they watched the goat-man.
    Tetri stood and walked over to Rothgut “Are you alright Cub?” she asked.
    ~~~~
    “Watch where you're going!” the man shouted “A Dark-Elf? Friend of your's vampire.”
    “Not yet” Xia, Answered.
    “This is not necessary,” Bettana said as she stood up.
    “You stay out of this old woman!” the man shouted as he pushed her to the ground. The man drew a dagger “Time we did away with the vermin in this city!”
    Xia's eyes turned red. Her nails became claws.
    ~~~~
    Carl finished pulling himself into the chair “I guess I could do that...”
    Sam nodded.
    “You didn't destroy the dwarf's hammer did you?” Carl asked.
    Sam shook his head and spoke in the minds of the men “I tried to slow time but something happened I'm not sure what... but he vanished into shadow.”
    Carl nodded “Didn't think so...” he sighed and used his hands to move the wheels allowing him to go backwards. He turned. “This could actually be kind of fun.” he said “Anyway I'm ready to get out of this house.”
    Tim nodded “We could go back to Senri's,”
    ~~~~
    The Fae nodded “Corpral please prepare the prisoner.”
    The High-Elf in the cell began to cuff the Iksar's hands. “Shall I gag him sir?”
    Yenter looked at the Iksar “Do we need to gag you?” He asked.
    ~~~~~
    Brienae nodded “Same to you sir,” she answered with a curtsey before gliding towards the guardhouse.
    ~~~~~
    “Oh sorry dear, I was distracted.” she kissed Galadrin goodbye before he headed out the door “How you feel about hide and seek?” she asked

    Alucard stopped the warning tone and looked at Canty with a smile. He spoke softly, using his fingers to pull apart a few tangles in his long black hair. "You did nothing wrong young miss, in fact I was quite enthralled with that dance!" he complimented cheerfully. He looked down at the other young Ratongan children and gave a wink. "You boys be nice to your sister, now.. Otherwise I will know if you've been naughty!" he said, half serious. He sighed, a mischievous smile on his face. The satyr put his hands behind his back and spoke again, "But if you -really- don't want any chunks of pure, fine aged cheese, then be as mean to your sister as you like.. Then she'll be the only one to get any!" he warned with a wink. Yes, he had some fine aged cheese in his backpack.. But he only rewarded Ratonga children if they were good boys or girls. If they had any doubts about his little deal, then he would immediately pull out a rather large hunk of cheese that smelled of Provolone. Then he put it back. He tapped his hoof on the ground, awaiting their respnse. Shiasia was still quite frightened and nervous and anxious about the male Arasai. "D-Don't touch me.." She shivered, slapped the hand away forcefully, and scurried into the kitchen, frowning. ==================== Zulgahr shrugged. "You might as well do the whole kit-'n'-k'boodle! Besides, most of my spells require at least one speech component.." he lied casually. He put his hands forward and with little resistance (if any), and let himself be bound. =============== Stinsmia frowned softly and yawned. "I-I'm sorry mama, but I-I'm sleepy from t-the whole day I've had... C-Can I go t-take a n-nap?" she asked weakly, stretching her arms and slouching tiredly. ================= Vhyrenia sighed and nuzzled her husband.

    ((It's alright, it happens. :D ))
    Ross shook her head and turned to look for Herrigan. She frowned, she had forgotten she had wanted him to escourt them when she had told him to go with her sister. She scanned the room for a Guard she could trust with this task. She turned as another Captain walked in.
    "Good morning, Captain Grayhaze."
    She inclined her head. "Good morning, Captain Alderman."
    "How was your shift? As quiet as ever?" The Koada'dal burshed his ling straw colored hair from his eyes.
    Ross sighed. "I wish."
    Herrigan waved to the guards at the gate as they passed through, Norna having to jog to keep up with the barbarian's long strides. Every guard they passed seemed to know the lieutenant and waved or saluted as they passed.
    "I used to patrol out here, back before I got my promotion." Herrigan said to fill the relative sillence. "I sometimes miss those days, seeing the land and sleeping under the stars."
    ***
    Alaric followed Kyriu with narrowed eyes. "What is this about a Necromancer?" He asked, catching the end of the conversation.
    Rene pulled Alyerra's tunic down, more for modesty's sake than to hide the wound.
    Toska sat up straighter in the chair. "Is they's alrights? Is everyones homes safes?" She asked, worried.
    Danlore nodded. "Yes, and Tetri's family followed her here. I think they said they'd move to Qeynos."
    ***
    Bella grinned as she sliced more fayberries. "I's cans gives yous a cheesecakes recipes!" She turned as Shiasia entered the kitchen. "Hallos, hallos!"
    Aloysiius turned to Limberger. "Hello there!"
    Rothgut raised his head, smiling slightly at being called 'Cub' at his age. "Oh, yisyis, I's just...dids nots gets much sleeps last nights." He yawned.
    Charlemin examined his father. "If you need to rest, I'm sure there is a place to."
    Rothgut waved a graying paw dismissivly. "I's wills be fines with a cups of coffees."
    ***
    Padparadisch growled and drew his dagger, pressing the blade into the man's back and hissed a rough whisper to the man. "I have had a very tireing time as of late and have a lot of rage pent up. Just give me a reason to gut you, dog."
    Del knelt by the woman and offered her a hand. "Yer alrigh'?"
    ***
    Ginnar scratched his beard. "Who vaninshed wit th' 'ammer?"
    ***
    Nordri nodded to the Fae and scanned the platforms, setting off towards the Tavern.

    Calish turned to look at the new captain. He sighed when he saw it was a High-Elf.
    Telsi shook her head as she watched her fiancee` tense. “Captain Grayhaze, since your shift in ending would it be too much trouble for you to escort us to the registration office?”
    ~~~~
    Alyerra turned. “I had a run in with a Necromancer,” she answered “I was just saying I don't want to repeat the experience.” It was close to the truth.
    Kyriu sighed “Let me look. I might be able to use Mend.”
    Alyerra raised an eyebrow “Sometimes you seem to lose consciousness when you do that.
    Kyriu's face turned red “I've gotten better!” she snapped “Sensei Silzin says it's a matter of judging how much energy you can safely give and I have learned.”
    “When was the last time you slept Ky?”
    Kyriu scowled. Her look softened “Something's wrong... something's very wrong... like you have an infection... is that even possible for you?”
    Alyerra blinked. She hoped Alaric would not pursue that question.
    ~~~~
    “I think that would be nice. I'm sure it would go over well, here.” she turned as Shiasia came in “What's wrong?” she asked
    “Is theres anythings else I needs to dos?” the teenage Canty asked.
    “We'll's bes goods.” said one boy “We always treats Fayberry nice.”
    Calarys turned “Now Provy. I thinks he means todays. Yous alls shoulds protects your's sisters mores.” she smiled “I'm sorrys if theys is a bothers sirs, theys ares sweets boys.”
    “I was wonderings,” Limberger began “Is thats the satyrs from yours story?” he asked pointing to Alucard.
    Tetri nodded. She laughed when she saw his smile “When you get to be my age few are not cubs.” she whispered in Rothgut's ear so only he could hear “I know there is controversy concerning my age, I'll tell you the truth I have seen the seasons turn 94 times.”
    ~~~~~
    Xia lost herself in her rage and shifted into her inner demon. There was little change only her fangs and her nails grew. She hissed.
    The man swallowed as he considered his options. In front of him was a vampire who looked like she was ready to tear him apart and behind him was a Dark-Elf with a dagger.. He released Xia's wrist and ran out of the tavern.
    Bettana accepted the hand “Aye.” she shook her head “This place, Qeynos is not at all like I remember.” she used the hand to pull herself up. “Thank you. Bettana Crimsonsong.” she said “Before I was married my surname was Galehand.”
    ~~~~
    Sam sighed. He rubbed his head as he had tried to say it mentally to all of them. He signed the name with his hands.
    “An orc by the name of Sharptusk,” Carl translated “Don't remember him, but an orc with power like that is not good at all.”
    Sam continued to sign.
    “He says that Grumblefoot tried to stop the orc by summoning spirits and something happened that caused the spirits to vanish and Grumblefoot to fall unconscious. Sam also says he's worried about Grumblfoot, because he seemed to be having some trouble afterward with cast.” Carl translated.
    ~~~~
    The lieutenant cuffed the Iksar's hands as the door opened.
    “Uncle Yenter,” Brienae said “Are you sure you want me to oh...” she sighed as she saw the prisoner. “Uncle I was the one who reported him. I really don't think...”
    “You cab do enough magic to sunbue him.” Yenter answered. He turned to Zulghar “This is my niece Lady Brienae De`Esalcoda. She will be keeping an eye on you.” Yenter said as the lieutenant applied the gag.”
    ~~~~
    “Oh of course dear,” Relane answered “Upstairs the second door is a spare room” she smiled “Well it it was a spare room it's your room now.”
