1h + shield for swashbuckler

    Is 1h + shield viable for soloing as a swashbuckler or is it just better to stick with dual wield?

    Depends. Level 100 I'd go DW 100% of the time, but below that, shield can be viable.

    A much better option would be to buy a Werner Thunderleg merc off the broker, hire him, and let him tank for you. :)
