With the rare random chance of even getting a mythical or celestial item to turn in to receive this currency, coupled with only getting so little per avatar kill, it needs to be doubled like the other minted celebration token.
We thought the same thing about the Crono dungeons. They they called themselves "fixing" Umbral Halls so as not to get hardly any Fragments of Time. Now we know why, so they could sell them. Seeing this trend, there will probably be a bundle coming up, with Masks, since we get so few. Guess we wait for the next in game item up for grabs to buy with cash...

"Minted Masquerade Member Token Reward" - Means you got doubled currency. The non-doubled currency shows as "Minted Masquerade Token Reward"
Thank you for clarifying the member rewards! The amount we are getting is still far far to low to be of much use, and frankly we are tired of having to wait until the majority of the expac is over before we are able to really use the items in the expac. Just my thoughts., Gninja rocks
I don't care if you say its not a bug, its not right. If I turn in: ITEM 747135673 -763534018:Celestial Divine Effigy I am rewarded: ITEM 579504920 -1566511464:Minted Masquerade Member Token Reward [Rank V] This item is a box with 4 masquerade and 20 celebration token. Unpacking it does not double any items in it. Even if you turn in treasured through fabled items, they are also not doubled and they are not in a 'box' to unpack. The only time any currency for the event is doubled, is when you do one of the herald quests from the camp and turn it in.
If you did not have the membership bonus when you turned in those same items you would have gotten 2 masquerade and 10 celebration token and the reward pack would have been "Minted Masquerade Token Reward [Rank V]" These are reward items given through script which does not use the same system as when you get them from a mission or quest. It doesn't display the same as other currencies when it doubles but you are getting the double amount.
If you mean doubled by the normal system, yes. They do get doubled still on turn in, just it checks in script if you are a member and gives you a doubled "member" reward pack.
