Category: Mechanics SubCategory: Spells Severity: Affects gameplay Frequency: Always Happens Summary: Impenetrable - When Canceled Stifle Remains & Melee Dumbfires Hitting Through 100% Parry Description: Impenetrable the Ranger Stamina Endline has 2 bugs that have plagued it for some time. The ability number for Impenetrable is (1630953018). Impenetrable Effects - Caster will Parry 100% of incoming attacks. - Prevents AOE (except when direct) - Makes caster immune to strikethrough attacks. -Duration 12 seconds -Casting 0.17 seconds -Recast 1 minute 30 seconds BUG #1 - When Ranger chooses to disable Impenetrable early the 100% Parry effect ends but the caster remains stifled/dazed for the full duration. This means no auto attack, no combat arts, no potions/clickies, no sprint... or abilities.... all you can do is move around. So if you double click it when applying or end it early to attack someone at an opportune moment the caster is still stifled/dazed even though Impenetrable has been fully canceled. Solution - Fix so when canceled the Stifle/Daze effect is also gone and everything works as intended. BUG #2 - Specifically Brigand Band of Thugs but other melee dumbfires that do Melee damage hit THROUGH the 100% parry effect of Impenetrable despite them being "melee" attacks. Solution - Fix so ALL melee attacks are 100% parried from ALL NPC, Pets and Players. Ranger Stamina AA line is really great for the extra HP and increased survivability but these bugs work against its ability to be beneficial in PVE and PVP. Thank you!
Bump please look into fixing one or both of these bugs related to this AA line. If Devs need any data to reproduce I would be happy to submit video/pictures/logs. Thank you...
This is not a bug. The recovery time on Impenetrable is what is preventing spell casting. And many pet attacks including what seem to be auto attacks are spells and can not be parried.
