Although a few things can be seen discovered in the past few days, apparently Census has no idea about the new collection, armor, etc. from Coffers and Coffins.
Definitely need this fixed - sooo many people depend on it, and I even use eq2u pretty regularly just to look stuff up.
Playing EQ2 without census is like driving a car being legally blind. Its possible, but dangerous. Do you have an ETA?
It is a known issue. My understanding is that there is a trouble ticket on it, but it involves outside parties as well as our own tech-types. We have not been given an ETA, we do know it is important to players, and there's not a lot more I can say, but just know that you have been heard, and we're almost as twitchy about it as all of you are.
Thank you Denmum for your reply. We're glad that the right people are aware and working on correcting it. Not having the stat and item information available is greatly effecting game play. Especially for those of us that are Guild and Raid Leaders who use fan sites like eq2wire to track our raiders resolve progress. This has been a problem for weeks now. It started when the new game update was released and seems to effect every item that came with it. A similar issue happened before the Game Update where the census wasn't exporting and it was able to be fixed within a reasonable amount of time. I think what most of us can't understand is if they were able to make the census export properly on March 25th, why can't they do the same thing and correct it now?
Different things can break with such a complex process including internal and external network issues, hardware, etc. It isn't always just a matter of throwing a patch on it and letting it go.
The current census outage is a new outage, bumping this thread doesn't help. The dev team is aware and working on it, however, according to discord.
