Just like in the real world, owning a show-stopping home in Norrath can involve a significant amount of time and money if you don't want it to look like a bad episode of "Hoarders of Norrath". Obtaining all the decorations. Fiddling everything around to be "just" right. Publishing. Unpublishing because you found one tiny error, or the perfect item to add. Republishing. Trying to get onto the leaderboards when there is solid competition in your housing category. Some days everything just clicks and other times it takes a lot of frustration and hard work. We'd like to recognize that hard work with the opening up of the Dev Picks section of the Kael Drakkel housing leaderboards. Do you think a certain published home deserves some extra recognition? Tell us about it in this thread for us to consider it for inclusion in this prestigious and very exclusive section of the leaderboards. Houses must already be on the housing leaderboards in order to be considered. You will need to provide the name of the home, the name of the homeowner, and at least 3 screenshots of the home in order to be considered. This will be a long-term feature, and, as such, will not have set schedules or deadlines for addition to Dev Picks. This feature is being activated for the Kael Drakkel server only.

If we get multiple submissions, I will look into doing Dev Picks on this server. A single submission, and minimal activity on the leaderboards mean that this wasn't worth the extra effort last year.

Does anyone have a house like the ones Oaky does that showcase just the items unique to Kael Drakkel? Has Oaky done such a place and I missed it (entirely possible)... 'Cause I'm debating about it, but I keep hearing about stuff getting "unlocked" on the other, regular servers once the questline is done, and also hearing that very little of the dozens->hundreds of items are actually showing up anywhere else. :-/ Uwk
No matter what you are hearing, there are no such unique items. There are a dozen or so items that are unlocked for purchase on live servers that were/are earned on Kael. Everything else on the Kael vendors with regards to furniture are items from live that Kael would not be able to get in any other manner - either due to it being from a higher level expansion, or from a prelude event that will never hit Kael. Now, please, everyone, let's leave this thread to just submissions, not all the side-comments and questions, to make it easier for me to see submissions without having to wade through a lot of chatter.
