Not A Bug Rare harvest chance has been silently removed for all zones

    It wasn't just in those zones. My understanding is that they changed the way the stats worked, period.

    Before this, I would get almost 500 rares while streaming an old episode of Gray's Anatomy. Now I get about 60. My harvest specialist is 14th on the World leaderboard for rares. I am in season 13 and was hoping to get to top 10 by the time I catch up, but not going to happen with this bad decision.

    The main saving grace I have with my toons is I do have a huge assortment of them, but only a few in each category per server, mostly (with Thurgadin being a notable exception after The Big Consolidation), at different stages; they're not all in triple digits in levels, which is a bit of help.

    But I have two guilds of my own on two servers (and while I've been spoiled about "relying on the kindness of strangers" in big, well-populated guilds, I'll always go with the bigger numbers...if I have more Severed Oak than the GH depot has, for example, I'll use mine), and wow, trying to keep up with the needs of my toons in those two is like pulling hen's teeth. It's actually making me reluctant to create any more toons in those, simply because I can't guarantee they'll be able to be geared up properly. :-/

    Rare harvest change isn't a flat percentage. It may have been at some point but hasn't been since at least BoL. It is increased rare harvest chance. So even if its showing 100% its more like an additional 5% chance total.

    From the limited harvesting sampling I did durring VoV it seems to be around 10% rare chance with 100% increased rare harvest.

    There's been no change to the rare harvest harvest rate afaik in several expansions. Which Denmum commented on at the beginning of VoV when this came up then.

    As I said, this is a change to zones before BOL. Like so: 6 harvest clicks, 4 rares. About as expected with 70% rare harvest.
