Drunder Ore System Referenced items- Recipe book: Ancient Armor of War - https://eq2.zam.com/db/item.html?eq2item=68f3ee5b1ea5eed24664e270c6d97f9e Recipe book: Runed Guidestone of Planar Repurposing - https://eq2.zam.com/db/item.html?eq2item=722e46c13d01bec168476e5190113679 Context- In the book "ancient armor of War" there are recipes for armor that require ore that is made using the recipes from the book "runed guidestone of planar repurposing". The ore created from this uses legendary and fabled drops from the loot tables of the three Drunder heroics. Issue- When the big itemization revamp happened, I believe in 2013, the items that replaced many drops were never flagged as primary components in these ore recipes in the "runed guidestone of planar repurposing". This creates an extremely large problem when trying to actually make these items as very few items from the Drunder zones actually work in creating ore. Items that got deleted in item revamps were also hit by itemization passes so they have proper stats. Here are some links of searches on Eq2.Zam.Com that lead to all the old items that no longer drop that could be melted into ore. https://eq2.zam.com/db/itemlist.html?itemcf=drunder01 https://eq2.zam.com/db/itemlist.html?itemcf=drunder02 https://eq2.zam.com/db/itemlist.html?itemcf=drunder03rare https://eq2.zam.com/db/itemlist.html?itemcf=drunder01rare https://eq2.zam.com/db/itemlist.html?itemcf=drunder03 https://eq2.zam.com/db/itemlist.html?itemcf=drunder02rare Protentional fixes: -Flag all currently dropping items to be used in the ore recipes. -Make all the old items purchasable on a merchant for 15 velium shards each, 30 for fabled, allowing access to more stat combinations as well as items to melt into ore. -Make bundles of ore purchasable on merchant.
Posted about this a couple weeks back, post got buried or ignored. Would be nice to see a fix on this, though it should have been done sooner when drunder came out as the ore and crafting items from it would have been more timely then, but would still be cool to see this usable once more.
While the items that can be broken down into ore do not have the line "This item looks as if it can be broken down into..." in the item descriptions, the fix appears to work. I have successfully broken down several items into ore.
