After blowing up the barrels and getting the updates, I was then told to return to Head Scholar Nabihan within Cobalt Scar. After getting to him, it starts the eavesdropping and then the conversation refuses to progress. Thus I am not able to finish this quest and get into the signature quest line.
I was unable to reproduce this issue, Nickdoubleu, but I suspect I know what happened. Be sure to not be playing in 1st-person camera mode during this step of the conversation. You are going to be eavesdropping on a conversation between Nabihan and Lucan. Be sure to scroll your camera out so you can see the conversation bubbles over Lucan's character. Then you should be able to advance the quest, as intended. Good luck! ~ Kaitheel
Thank you for looking into this! The strange thing is that I wasn't in 1st person when I was trying to progress in the conversation. But all of sudden it is working again and I am able to continue on. No idea
