I am aware of the overseer quest given at the statue in New Halas. To fans of the overseer system this is very nice and that definitely includes me. I am also aware of various parts of the event that give decorations and titles and I will be working on those as well. But after many years away I don't want to miss anything critical and old guides obviously are subject to error in describing how it works today. Is there anything that gives useful items, significant status or significant xp? To supplement the nice cosmetic-type rewards.
These events aren't supposed to be PL sessions. While a couple of them tend to go that way, the overwhelming majority of them are just meant to be fun.

Thanks - yes they aren't supposed to be *useful* but as someone noted above occasionally an event gives something that isn't just fluff. I am happy when it is only fluff but if there is something good and I have just assumed it is all fluff without checking I am less happy.
