A balanced raid consisting of a fairly normal set up of 4 bards, 4 enchanters, 2 shamans, 2 clerics, 2 druids, 1 brawler, maybe 2 plate tanks then 7 DPS classes say 4 scouts and 3 mages, If my maths is correct that is 10 chain wearers, 7 cloth, 4 plate and 3 leather wearers. So why oh why is every other pattern that drops in raid leather the rest being plate and cloth with a rare chance of chain. Would it be possible to double the chain drop rate? so far this xpac the guild I raid with has only had 3 chain patterns drop and leather patterns are now going to alts.
Or go back to the way it was the past two expacs where the patterns are restricted to material type....
