After ingesting all the red ones, and it only takes one for it to take effect, Breanna sat numbly on the bus. Slowly the change started. The base of her toes started to turn into a chrysalis and than luckily for all her mouth was was shut with the same material! Sweet, Sweet quiet! Within moments, her entire body was encased waiting to be hatched into something probably horrible but you never know. Maybe it will be for the better!
The green ones are the worst! What a terrible pick for Cyrenna. Almost instantly she picks up her banjo and starts singing The Rainbow Connection as her skin starts to turn emerald. One day we'll find it, the Rainbow Connection POP! Whoops, with a bang she's a tad pole! She's flopping on the floor and out the door! There she goes down the stream toward the waiting Salmon, quick someone throw her the banjo!
Good Afternoon ROAD TRIPPERS!!! Burning Man last night was more than I imagined. Interesting, but I cannot say that I would be willing to voluntarily fry in the desert for a week to stay there. Asyn did a fantastic job fire hooping, Congratulations friend!! This morning, we visited the Rhyolite Ghost Town in Beatty, Nevada. Founded in 1904 and dead by 1916, Rhyolite was one of several short lived boom towns from the late Gold Rush era. People were drawn to the desert on the edge of Death Valley by the promise of gold found amongst quartz in local mines, and by 1906 the town had all the promising indicators of permanence with largest population in the area. Empty hulks of the three story bank, the general store, and smaller buildings remain. Also there is a great looking train station, as well as some other well-preserved ghost town ruins. One of the most well-known houses was constructed using hundreds of glass bottles in the walls from Adolphus Busch products, more familiarly known as Budweiser. Probably the most interesting work of art that has been placed in the ghost town is 12 life-sized disciples patterned after “The Last Supper”, built in 1984 by the Belgian artist Albert Szukalski. They consist of empty flowing robes (made of fiberglass), so they appear to be ghosts. After the Rhyolite Ghost Town, we went to the National Atomic Testing Museum on the University of Nevada - Las Vegas Campus. The National Atomic Testing Museum is one of a handful of private national museums and showcases some of the rarest of artifacts relating to the nation’s atomic testing program. Nowhere else can you see a large nuclear reactor that was used in the development of the nuclear rocket and the first air-to-air missile, Genie. Personal atomic weapons that were developed to use in place of conventional weapons such as the Backpack Nuke and the Davy Crockett Weapon System (recoilless gun) are placed throughout the 8,000 square feet of museum exhibits. This place was huge, not as big as the Mob Museum yesterday but much larger than I thought it would be. I did not know they had a nuclear reactor, decommissioned of course. They also had pieces of the Berlin Wall to signify the end of the Cold War and pieces of the World Trade Center to signify the War on Terrorism. We are on lunch break now in Round Mountain, Nevada at The Blitz Creek Bar and Grill. The food is good and they have a full bar and craft beers as well as branded beers, ales, and lagers on tap if that is more to your liking. After lunch, we will be touring the Round Mountain Gold Mine, which is just about 1/2 a mile down the road. After the gold mine, we will be porting about 35 miles from Denio Junction, Nevada for our visit to the Royal Peacock Black Fire Opal Mine. I have set us up for Bank Mining for the afternoon. This is strenuous work so if anybody does not wish to bank mine, you can sift mine in the tailings, but the best chance for noteworthy opals is bank mining. With our time delays, we will have approximately 6 hours to mine. Then we will port back to Reno, to shower and change and relax for a bit before cocktail hour and dinner. I have scheduled cocktail hour for 7 pm at the Fireside Lounge and dinner for 8 pm at Café Milano' both in our hotel the Peppermill Hotel Resort, Spa, and Casino. Tomorrow, we will be doing the Extraterrestrial Highway. We will begin our trip by porting to Hiko, Nevada to see the Black Mailbox and then on to Crystal Springs, Nevada which is where the Jerky shop is and where the sign that notates the beginning of the Extraterrestrial Highway is, selfies or group photos with this sign are a must have!!! Our next stop is the Alien Research Center which is where the Gift Shop is and it is open on Tuesday. We will be stopping at the Area 51 Back Gate, Rock Art, Mt. Irish, Crystal Wash, The Shooting Gallery, and Tikaboo Peak. Then we will be stopping in Rachel, Nevada. This is where we will be having our lunch. Its about the only place, they also have a small shop, so I would stock up on snacks if we do not have anything on the buses that suit your tastes, they also have alien themed gifts and novelties. After Rachel, we will be stopping at Lunar Crater and Frenchy Lake. Then we will continue on to Tonopah which is a mining town. When we arrive in Tonopah, Nevada. We will have cocktail hour and dinner at the Tonopah Brewing Company after have a walkabout in Tonopah. There are quite a few shops here, a lot of art, jewelry, and the likes. After dinner, we will port back to our hotel in Reno for the rest of the evening. *casts the group speed buff, passes out new hats with Aliens on one and a mini mock up of the House built with Budweiser Bottles from the Rhyolite Ghost Town to everybody, stealth's over and puts Ttobey's new hat with a big Florescent Alien on him, giggles and stealths back to her spot, readjusts the time delays and relocks the security cover, shouts* Alright ROAD TRIPPERS, we have a gold mine to tour and a lot of opals to mine so lets get going!!!

Breanna butterfly sits on a 50 foot tall tree and dries her wings.
Breanna explodes into a blast of brilliant red light and is gone. It was one bright shining moment but it doesn't look as if anything in the bus has changed. Wait Cyrenna's mount list is gone! Breanna's blast destroyed the mount list leaving in it's place The Animator's Mount Choice List! Wow! After that giant blast Tom Tobey wins again!
Breanna runs over to Ttobey and starts shaking him to wake him up from his dream. Wake up, wake up she says you're having a bad dream, wake up. You were talking in your sleep something about Breanna being a butterfly and something like you have to get busy on Cy's broom mount since you only have a little over a month left. Please wake up you're only dreaming, as Breanna shakes him again to try and get him to wake up. He's out cold. It must be from that Hulkette crush she did on him a few days ago.
Oh, yes there is, absolutely! I still prefer Mexican sodas (in glass bottles! ) to this day over many a gringo alternative, because ostensibly Mexico is "too poor" to be able to afford a bunch of artificial crap (thank the gods!), and have the temerity to actually want to eat corn and not turn it into any one of a number of industrial products (like HFCS). :-/ Uwk who has to wonder if we can blame poor George Washington Carver on that kind of idea...don't think that was his original intention... :-/

Oh good, you figured out how to Stem the Tibe which is Ttobey. Saves me having to fly up to the small card file and reinstate Cyrenna and Breanna. I mean, I can get up there, the card files are around a light year tall and wide, but its dark up there in that particular area. The nearest star is a red dwarf, not a nice G2 yellow star like ours. Wait, maybe its further away than just one light year. Never mind.
