No word on fix to Shaman Primary group ward? They currently only land on the shaman in Heroic and Raid zones. Please tell me we are not going into a long holiday break without a major fix to Shaman group wards?

Just tested that and, yeah, wow, you're right. No wonder things are so much harder when we get a defiler in our group rather than an inquisitor or warden.

I believe that is just a recording issue in ACT because if group wards weren't really applying to the group the mages wouldn't have been able to survive T2s (raid) at all

It lands on the entire group. Some time last expansion they decided it was 'better' if it REPORTED as only on the shaman.
That being said, any shaman that tries to rely mostly on their wards this expac is going to have deaths.. lots and lots of deaths.

Yes. The devs changed how the group ward is logged. All damage done to it is logged as if it is done to the shaman.

Logs or no, I have seen my defiler have full professional wards up and half the group die on pull with group wards now were near used up. I understand bleed-through but unless they are making it 100% on trash or tier 1 names (which would be silly) something is not right with summoner wards. It funny but Templar wards and Warden wards are for some reason treated different? Seem to me they are wanting to shaft shaman if this is true.

Yeah...all Priests should be treated equally. Not the Mystics/Defilers fault if they have a bit of extra help. :-/

Hmm...I haven't grouped much with Familiars since starting to get mine (the ones all folks can get, not just the Mage helpers); could it be because of them, that Familiars don't take any damage at all until their person dies? Or am I mis-reading this and it's only reporting any incoming damage to the shaman, but not what it's doing to the rest of the group? Hmm...that doesn't seem to be the case, either...very confusing. :-/
