Whats up with Krono

I don't understand any argument about krono price rising. At the max level, what else is there to spend plat on apart from krono? Masters? Ok.. then what ? there's literally no reason why Kronos shouldn't keep rising simply because there's nothing else to spend plat on. The server is very top heavy so the krono rise happens quickly and will keep happening since there's no real point in hoarding plat.

Krono after all is gametime so if it takes 1 week to farm it it's still a decent price given it gives you 1 month of gametime.

Twinking alts. Doing fabulous interior decorating. Buying ever more uber loot that someone is auction the SLR for.

"Essence of Magic" are 400k plat, and you need several for orange runes, so a lot of people are selling Krono just to get adorns and what not that they don't have weeks to play and get.

Actually, seeing the same hacker log in and scoop up the krono market again.

People were selling buying today at 1.1K ... From ROK release to Veksar one it raised from around 150 to 300, since veksar it almost tripled. Something is very fishy.

It would be a pretty good money making scheme for DBG to sell you the krono, then create in game plat on a made up char and buy it to increase demand of krono. Plat inflation costs them nothing.

Being also a bit in the conspiracy i got a similar idea when on Eq1 TLE, this would be equivalent to plat selling. Buying a krono is 100% win for DBG since it destroy some debt they have without costing the anything.

The reason for krono over 1 million plat on live is may be there, inflation is probably not generated by raid splits of 10 000 but rather by DBG buying its own Kronos.

This compagny is as bad as wallstreet bankers and all the finance industry, they never ever produced anything useful but milked the american working class and almost detroyed the economy.
