After June 12 Patch Everquest 2 is unplayable

Game freezes up. Screen goes black. Cannot zone etch More than half the people are having problems now.

We updated some of our streaming assets. Try exiting and restarting you clients.

I have restarted router, computer, client etc. Still unplayable

I updated and validated files and so far seems to be working

I tried the same Klattu Didn't work for me. Attempting to download full game to see if that works

restarted PC, restarted EQ2 and validated assets
still no improvement
ust wonder how long it will be until this is sorted out.
Had problems for the past ten hours, with guilides not being about to zone, we all thought things would improve after the patch -
always the optimist...

The fourth restart worked...

Just tried again and got in and could see myself - thank you Outlaw, I would have given up for the night..

Did full dl, validate and all, can see char again. Dunno if that was what worked or if something else happened

It is amazing how being away, for 6 months, makes you forget all the problems with EQII. It's a lot like pregnancy; you forget all the hard parts because the results are so amazing. I've given the game 4.5 hours, to get out the bugs, from the maintenance but I'm not sure that will fix all the problems people are having. I guess I'll just have to log in and see what happens. Meanwhile, I won't hold my breath lol.
