I am a new player and I broke one of my quests and can't proceed. I was doing "The Prince and I" in Darklight Woods. Got to the room with the Prince and his guards. Since I am playing a Ranger I went stealth and proceeded to set up behind the Prince. When the room went hostile I took out the 2 nearest guards (on the platform) but the next group killed me, and the Prince ran off (which I understand he is supposed to do). Now when I enter the room I have no prince, and no guards on the platform. The other group of guards and the guard captain are not hostile and just stand there. I have dropped and reacquired the quest, hoping to reset it, but no luck. It's still in the same state, stuck because I killed the wrong group of guards first. Is there any way to fix this?
One thing you can try is to delete the quest and then re-acquire it from the quest giver. Sometimes that works. Be sure and /bug report it telling how you broke it.
