For those who use the prestige AA Umbral Barrier (replaces and shares a cooldown with Umbral Warding VIII) as their primary group ward, does raising the quality of the core spell impact Umbral Barrier at all? I'm currently researching Umbral Warding VIII into Grandmaster, but wondering if there's any value in doing that, or if I'm just wasting my research time. If it's not going to make any numerical difference whatsoever, I could always transfer that research time to another spell.
AA spells go off of AA points spent in that spell. I was wondering the same and actually made a grandmaster version of the spell and Umbral Barrier stayed the same. So put that time in researching another spell ~Oogaaboogaa~
Umbral Barrier and Umbral Warding are not the same ability so no upgrading Umbral Warding has no effect on Umbral Barrier.
