They added reforging because they didn't want to spend time itemizing gear.. unfortunately they don't seem to have spent more time making stats on...
They've never published numbers in the past. I think it's highly unlikely they'll change that any time soon...

Every time we ask about marketing the response is 'very targeted audiences'... I just find it odd that their 'targeted audience' doesn't seem to have...
Except expert PUGgroups don't take under-geared people and regular heroics aren't being run, so new people can't get geared enough to run...
