anyone with half a meatball for a brain would know that Battlegrounds killed the open world PVP...because if they wanted to PVP, all they would have to do is que up. They were still rewarded for dying and losing in BGs too. + the gear was easily obtainable in BGs because there was no risk. Your whole "opinion" is wrong lol
I'm confused though, because Tomb is mentioning all these things that were around long, long before battlegrounds. Battlegrounds came out with Sentinel's Fate in 2010. It's possible for all the things Tomb mentioned to have influenced the open world PVP population... while still acknowledging that battlegrounds had an obvious effect on the population as well. Of course, things had already been on the decline at that point.
