What seems to be constantly overlooked is that there is actually a third choice. Pay or grind or take your money elsewhere. From what I've seen in these threads so far there's going to be a substantial number of people going for that third option if something doesn't change.
My only regret is i paid a year in advance. This is a shameless cash grab. You do not care about our opinions. This may as well be a shredder box where at the end we are thanked for our contributions and yet another post will be opened "see shredder box." Which will be closed with a thanks we know best even though we don't actively play this game is given. Did you want constructive criticism? Here it is stop putting pay for loot or pay for casino or more accurately lottery odds to get basic needed gear for progression and survival to experience all of the very subpar and old hack material that is pumped out and re hashed each expac. I am extremely disappointed in the franchise that gave me so much entertainment and joy since 1999 when my brother brought home eq1. Now turn into this flaming pile of cash extracting garbage. Great job I hope your shareholders make some pocket change on the way down.
Get rid of the Heritage cache and the keys and the loot resetters and just leave personal cache there and drop 2 items per. Random two items off the loot table, could care less if if get temps, but it does away with the PTW aspect for sure.
do you realize that for some, you have come to tell them how you want to be plucked? And how ? This is getting ridiculous. let them know their game they try to manage, let them know the community they ignore. Just say no, and adopt the same tactic, silence
why even bother with the key and stuff? Just pop open a UI menu offering the bosses loot table and how much each item costs. Want something specific? Just buy it. Give it some flashing lights sound effects and everything. Adding keys to heroic rewards is just a cheap cop out to tell the playerbase, hey look, its not completely p2w, only 90%!
Gee, think it's any coincidence this P2W key business is introduced just prior to the end of the first quarter? Guess they'll do anything for a quick cash infusion. Kudos for killing game morale even further. It's hard enough dealing with lack of new content, DB skeleton staffing, and existing P2W crud, and now this. How about actually advertising the game and getting more subscribers instead?
TreasureCache purchasable for DaybreakCash makes the entire system a charade, that anyone with a brain can see through without even squinting. It doesn't matter if "they'll also be available as rewards for weekly quests in small quantities". If you can buy infinite number of them, everything else immediately becomes irrelevant; you're fooling noone, nay - insulting everyone - with a functional brain without as much as even an apology "i'm sorry guys we know this a predatory system that kills many aspects of the game you enjoy but it's this or sunset".

My guild and raid leaders debate quitting over this, they just not sure if it works on Varsoon yet Please please say it isnt! Or disable on TLE if it is, I beg you
Exchange chest loot between group members is a key feature of EQ2! This additional personal loot thing dingy is not needed. We have personal loot ingame since some years. It is called: Mission rewards
Remove them from all servers. It's causing strain in all of our communities. Please listen to your players
Ill echo the rest here since i wholeheartedly agree, at face value most of the players felt the loot that dropped from chests squeezed completely dry. 1 item chests became the norm in this expac so it made it very rough to gear out a group in heroics to meet resolve checks for raids. Raids themselves only compounded that and doubled down, gearing a 24 person raid was equally as daunting and as such most of the game slugged through raids well under resolve. Now enter the market place, the player base was already squeezed dry and frustrated so the answer to all of that was just spend money? I myself feel just insulted, gearing and loot grinding was always a core part of this game but now it just feels like we were taken for a ride. I myself, and MANY others are NOT OK with this system and are on the borderline of just quitting which will hurt the top end raiding scene on live. If the game needed funding that bad STAY away from the way we gear, give us another buff or mount or even a higher sub tier. Buying extra loot rolls on chests and literally 30 min loot resets is just not it.
Is there anyone who likes the new feature? If so, can you tell us why? (And if there's just the sound of crickets in response to this question, that is in itself an answer!)

Seriously, I can understand that a company, whatever, wants to increase its income, it's completely normal. Taking people for idiots is another story. the reason for this very bad feedback from us. Simply saying that you put this in place would have been enough. The coating of an idea that is created for the player, the community, is the drop of water. I advise you to open a position in communication, which has not been filled for months, whatever your job title may suggest. you are aware, life is not rosy at the moment, for many, I am not talking about specific misfortune but rather an atmosphere that is not conducive to prosperity . Your game is an escape, a valve, very appreciable. If this valve takes us for backwards, I'm sure you can understand what takes us to such extremes, for a simple video game.
Please remove the loot crates from TLE or restrict it to 1 crate max per chest for raid members. It ruins the experience and motivation to raid anything except the encounters you got a crate ready for
