my guild is at 220 and does not advance , I get points but they don't add to the guild. am I got something set wrong? Thanks for any help.
A portion of all status you receive will also go towards guild xp. However, not all sources are equal. Many status-selling items have a restriction on them that says only guilds below level X will receive experience. Another HUGE way to get guild xp is to earn achievements from the Reign of Shadows and Visions of Vetrovia expansions. Many of these have guild advancement tokens on them, which add considerable xp each time you earn one.
