I'm back just to bug you guys and say...I still want my prestige island that came with Tears of Veeshan expansion - the one with the waterfall, wink wink*

And, paintings from the LoN stuff....

    :D

Not just the LoN paintings. Everything from LoN should be able to be purchased outright. I would personally love to have the Books of paintings from LoN in my library but I am not going to gamble on loot crates with multiple booster packs in each crate for the off chance that I may eventually get 1 of 8 books after 500 crates. I am here to play an MMO not a casino game. You may make money off a few whales addicted to gambling with loot crates but you would make more off others if you just sold items people want instead of lottery tickets.

Excellent point, I just said painting’s because that’s what I want the most. But I totally agree, I bought one LoN thing for 7 bucks - never again. Because that cash adds up quick. And they are not even guaranteed. What a waste of time for us players.

Previous collector edition items, maybe related to the current kaladim unlocked expansion. so for example, you could buy an Age of Discovery collectors edition item for use on a single toon (rather than account wide) until Kaladim opens up it's next expansion - at which point it jumps onto the items from that expansion.

Ok, I have a suggestion for you Devs, Since the Silver accounts can no longer sell anymore from the broker without the broker credits. How about allowing us to use plat that we gather or maybe the Loyalty coins/tokens that we collect daily. to trade for broker credits. For example; say 10 Loyalty tokens for 5 broker credits or something like that.

That would help us out and probably keep us silver accounts from leaving. We love this game and would stay if we could do something like that.
    thanks for listening.

Make crates/packs that SPECIFICALLY GIVE merc/mount/spell/familiar reductions rather than gambling its discouraging spending $100+ dollars to get 2 reductions.... mainly familiar people would pay way more for specific crates and create more characters thus investing more time into the game over Absolutes rather than Chance

That would be specifically encouraging MAKING a Pay To Win game model. Those who have money would just buy all the reductions and be objectively better than everyone else who plays the game to try and earn their progression.

While that may Encourage a pay to win model, its literally no different than now with basing everything on RNG of overseer quest, or buying crates via broker or market place already? i fail to see the issue here. either way its still going to be pay to win. Im not saying take out those things that are in place already to get those items but at least add them in a way to where the people who want to pay for that can pay for it.

It also reduces the income to the game in the long run. You can hook your customers on a steady drip of RNG with a possibility of getting what you want, or they can see an immediate short increase in sales from customers actually getting what they're paying for and then a massive drop-off as nobody needs to buy anymore.

I hate to bring the comparison, but there's a reason why the medical industry doesn't release cures for diseases: They can make more money by treating the symptoms in the long run. Basically the same principle.

fair point, though id still argue that in some way shape or form they need to make those items more accessible whether via tokens or plat and status or something because relying on RNG or waiting 18 days for 1 level on a merc or mount is absurd to me, or even 2 months for a spell at grandmaster.i get the game is a time sink now and isnt what it was, but at least give people a chance to catch up in those areas

I am much more likely to buy a specific item I want, than hope random chance will work. I'm a retired computer tech. I wouldn't buy all of it at once anyway.

I use the marketplace all the time for decorating. How about selling some new hair styles and clothes...omg the clothes are awful on the mb lol How about some actual nice dresses and mens suits. Actually, how about some upgraded
models that could be bought and applied like we do already but not as a zombie or monster but something nice and human, elf, halfling, or gnome. I want to look good like ffxiv makes me look. :)

Maybe a silly idea, but I have several adv level 100 and 110 characters.

I would buy a leveling token to get me from 100 to 120 or 110 to 120. But the current one is for huge leveling. There needs to be a cheaper one to get me just those last few steps.

Or one for crafting to get a character from crafting 80 to crafting 91. So I can deal with Qho and get a harvesting pony. Hmmm... I only have one character at crafting 80, I think. But if I need to go from mid-level crafting to 91, I can't justify to myself a crafting token to go levels up I already have.

And I would be inclined to pay for one.

Just do the PoP crafting and adventure line, (Planes of Prophecy), I did it, and easily got from 100 to 120 just for that line. and you get kool stuff at the end.

I keep meaning to do things like that. This time i bookmarked this page.

    I use the Marketplace.

When I buy something in Consumable, the Interface goes all the way back out to the main menu. I would like for it to stay where I was buying items.

Other places in the Marketplace, it doesn't do that to me. Account and server makes no difference. I'm on Maj'Dul and Skyfire.

Also happens to me when I go to Familiars.

Ugh! Just spent last night going through each and every one of my alts on my two sub'd accounts making sure they all have all of the Pride Familiars. It didn't happen every time, but did about half the time. Add that to the occasional reshuffling of what appeared in the list made for challenge. This is probably why a few characters didn't have all of them from previous years.

It might be a simple and "quick" work around to click back to where I was, but considering how much that time added up yesterday...
I just don't understand why it goes back a level or two in the Marketplace menu.

Most likely in the menus... click here, stay there, Or goes back to top level. No idea, but looks like the menu for Marketplace has a hiccup somewhere.
