Constant Crashing and Validation is repeating..

    This is been going on for the last 2 weeks.. I had No Problems Before...
    Game keeps crashing to Character select screen... Downloaded Game again. Downloaded latest version of DirectX.. I keep downloading Game. Game assets.. and it keeps asking to download game assets everytime i log in.. No error messages... I tried to find the log or error but none exist..I don't know what else to do...
    Anyone ever had this issue?

    Checked Windows logs, and updated the drivers?

    Re-installing set the client back into streaming mode. Go into the launchers advanced options and tick the box for full download.

    There have also been some recent Windows updates. Check your video driver (and other drivers) to see if what you have is the "latest and greatest" current version.

    You can figure out what drivers you have by running dxdiag.exe -- that's DirectX's diagnostic tool, and have it save the output to a text file somewhere you can find it. I access dxdiag by clicking the Windows button, then in the Run box type "dxdiag" and hit enter. there's a "Save All Information" button at the bottom. When you open the text file in Notepad, as you scroll down in the file, you will find something similar to this:

    From this, I can go to AMD/Radeon's manufacturer website, and find the current driver(s). Or to whoever manufactured the hardwar for which I need to update drivers.

    Typical for me now:

    Do SE and KJ solo zones
    Port to Basement
    Exit Basement and take horse to FG zones
    CRASH on horse on set of double steps
    Relog in to take horse again
    Do the 4/5 zones in FG
    Run back to gate to MW
    CRASH at big archway near Little Town in FG
    Relog in and go to MW gate
    Zone to MW, Do MW zones
    Port to GH
    Take GH portal to GH bank area
    CRASH again
    Relog into GH Bank area - sell stuff from zones

    Happens everyday.

    Well got CleanMem 2.5 off a discord suggestion - seem to be crashing less now.

    If that's the case then you need to start turning settings down as it appears your machine can't handle the level at which you're running. You might also try running some tests on your memory to see if it flags any failures which would leave you running on less than you think you have.

    I have Alienware Aurora R11- i9 10900, RTX 3080 video card and 64 GB of DDR4 Ram.

    The game is on an SSD.

    It is not my machine. In RoS - I rarely crashed (maybe 1 a week or month). In VoV was crashing 3 to 4 times a day. CleanMem 2.5 took that down to about 2 a day now. This is a problem, and by all accounts, the application developers know and are trying to be in some fixes.

    It's a game issue.. I did a ticket and tried all the suggestions...There's days i crash a few times... but like today.. i crashed every half hour.. there's a memory leak in the game...I guess we'll have to wait until they find a fix or they go to a 64 bit format.
    For now it's killing the experience. Sad because so many people are coming back to the game and they will prolly leave again because the game is broken.

    The game has always had a memory leak issue. It just is very bad right now.
