Npc Khadra sells a far seas strong box containing 1k ferrin for 1k ferrin plus 250p. Is there more in the strongbox than ferrin? Makes no sense to buy it
The merchant next to Khadra is Kaaj-Kaal and he sells gear for stongboxes. So you have to get the strongboxes first before you can buy the gear from him. Seems like an over complicated way to do that, but it's what they implemented. They get to charge you 2 times for plat to get one item of gear. lol! I think they were already looking for ways to burn player's plat at that time. Didn't really help the plat glut all that much tho.
