A large stage coach lands on the field. it is drawn by 12 robot mules. Seated in the driver's seat is Gero. he is wearing a stage coach driver's outfit. Jeans, boots, shirt, heavy gloves, and a hat. All Western style, of course.

"All Aboard ! Passengers please get in the coach, Robbie and Sandra, my robot assistants, will assist you into the coach.

Restrooms in the back, seating by the windows or other seating away from the windows. Your choice.

I think we can successfully dodge the satellites, space station, and other things between here and there."

Steps are placed by the 4 entrance doors.

For those adventurous sorts, who have put on their space suits conveniently located in the storage building next to the landing zone, can sit on top of the stage coach. Note, you may have to dodge objects that get close.

"All Aboard that is going !"

Small example, but photo in case you don't know what I mean by Stage Coach.

And this is what we have to navigate through... some satellites, some pieces of rockets. We should be fine.

"All Aboard ! for the flight to the Moon and back !"

Hmmm that's odd. What is that weird glow starting to grow around the moon?

    Lets see...

Tycho Crater is a good place.

    So is Plato crater.

We could go to Farside, but wouldn't be able to watch Earth rise.

I was checking, and we don't have the fuel to reach the Galactic Souverner Shoppe out by the Oort Cloud, but there is a local solar system one out on the Moon. I'll see if I can find some lava tubes on the Moon, and maybe we can travel to the Lagrange Points in Lunar orbit.

Bring your cameras, and there will be a picnic.

    I like picnics :)

Well, I did try to get fuel for the Galactic Souvenir Shoppe, but they have things out there that are not exactly friendly to our Euclidian planet. And I don't mean the employees.

Just, uhm, don't buy any rectangular monoliths at the Lunar Souvenir Shop. They could be portals to Elsewhere.

Any Who, who couldn't make it, we could start rolling into lift off, but due to partial time dilation folks could get aboard the stage coach after it lifts off. As if it hadn't lifted off. Sort of. Just watch that first step.

Okay, flight about to start. Remember, you can still board even after liftoff, just as if the coach was still on the ground.

We'll need a long run way.

Ah, about 2 miles long and a half-mile wide will be A-Okay.

    ( 3.2 km by 8 tenths of a km )

"Mules ! Giddyup ! Move on out !"

The coach and mules start moving forward. Slowly gaining speed.

Here is what the landing zones might look like. I know, different craters, but finding a variety of lunar surface photos has been difficult.

"Come on Mules ! Git a movin' !
We need to beat any solar flares to the lunar surface !
    dodge satellites,
    do the boogaloo dance,
    skip past the neutrinos,
    and brave low earth orbit,
    moving past any asteroids,
comets and any flying shoes !"

Folks, don't forget your sunscreen, space suits, and picnic baskets !

Extra water and oxygen will be provided !

    "Yeeeha mules ! Get a movin' !
I want to reach orbit before sunrise !
    Moving out, speeding up,
    lift off in progress !"

The front most mules have achieved lift,
their hooves are in the air !
Second most mules are almost there.

    "Moving upwards,
gotta dodge the airplanes, balloonies, and kites,
solar wind and weather up ahead !
Be sure you have sun screen 1000 on !

Aooggaah ! Here we go !"

Then climb aboard, liftoff is in progress. Late arrivals can still board. The 'entrance way' is on the ground and stays attached to the coach allowing late arrivals to get into the coach's interior.

"The second set of mules has achieved lift off !"

"Come on tha rest of ya ! let's get a movin' ! Yeehaa !"

The coach picks up more speed. We are at the half-mile mark.
