You're serious?!? You would have to move to San Diego??? Is this not the era of technology, and pandemic has show us that many jobs can be done remotely... Maybe they want a continuation of 'office community', you know, gossip at the water cooler about what idiots we players are...XD
Lots of positions are still very traditional; personally, I think it's the middle managers wanting to lord it over their minions and watch them squirm in person. Gives them a feeling of power they might not feel being some higher up's minion. ;-> Uwk whose dad got booted out of his career choice a few years into it by a middle manager... >:-/
