Can't fly over Qeynos ?

My flying mount, 110, lets me fly way up over Butcherblock.

Can't get off the ground in Qeynos. Would like to fly way up to take some screen shots of the city.

Is this by design that flying doesn't work there ? Are any cities set to allow flying up above them ?

I don't think a lot of the tops of buildings in Qeynos are built so that you would see anything flying over them.

The same is true for Freeport....or at least that is what I was told. Also was told it was a lag issue.

If you are good at jumping you can use the gnomish stilts to jump and get pretty high up but really there is nothing to see in either FP or Qeynos. Or if you are good with a leaper you can do the same thing but the same results.

Is there a sketch of those cities, from above, I can add to my web site ? Details not needed.

you used to be able to fly down by the water but even that is not possible anymore and the leapers don't really get much of the ground either , even down by the docs .
They grounded us , like years ago .

If you try really hard in qeynos, you can jump around on the tinkering area and get on top of a lot of the buildings, but it has some major visual glitches. You won't see a lot from the top.

Look for someone who has one of the regular houses in South Q by the mage tower. Decorators like to break out of them. Some might put their telepads high on the mage tower itself. A lot of the city is not rendered from the houses, but you can get some high shots. I'd ask in Homeshow if anyone has the breakouts in Q and FP.

I recall the city guards complaining about mount droppings from the sky so they enacted a "no-fly" zone over the 2 major cities, a Griffin poo can cause serious injury!

Flying Meatbeasts are the worst for that!
