    Thanks! Poking at it now.

My first question with the new achievement is - where does one find Cae'dal who will not either port you to JW if you attack them and/or give you a Nye'Caelona faction hit if you kill them? :O

Niggly: The Gilded Hart Tea set (teacup, teacup stack, teapot) has the same preview issue as the frostfell set - the items are not even close to centered, but instead go off the bottom of the preview window, often requiring juggling/resizing/etc in order to fully preview them.

As I understand, that is a result of what art has to do to ensure those small items do not disappear when still close to them in the world. I don't know that there is any way to stop one without affecting the other.

    Niggly inconsistency:
Almost all the recipes use the sculpting (carpenter-specific) techniques except for the Pink Rose Bouquet and the Yellow Rose Bouquet, which use geocraft (generic all-class). Why the switch between class-specific and generic? Definitely not a huge thing, but one of those nigglies. :)

yay its here finally I was checking like every hour or so
you can say what you want I love the new building blocks that leave holes for windows and doors genius.
Thank you so very much .
and that hinged topiary got to buy one and see if it works.
and grassy trapdoor hmm wonder what secret I could hid under that :D
    I am sooo exited.
Owe :( we still can't mount that pretty shield on to the wall >

Everything looks great! Folks are especially excited about the new building blocks, and about the hinged stuff so far. :D The quest reward is adorable, too! (I'm going to have a hard time smelling my all-time-favorite aromatic flowers, dianthus, without wondering if they're about to bite my nose, though!)

My one concern is the one mentioned in my first post about the Cae'dal hard candy, since Nye'Caelona faction is needed for adventuring gear. I'll poke around at it a bit after I finish all the screenshot processing and such.

Folks have been commenting on how expensive the quivers are. Yes, they're containers as well as appearance items, but the feeling is that it is still a bit spendy to have them cost 150 coins, when the appearance shield (Love's Blessed Defense) is only 50. Perhaps drop it to 100?

(I know, the ponies bring back tons of candies, it really shouldn't be that much of a hardship for folks to earn that many coins, but the issue was mentioned by more than one person, so I'm passing it on. :D)

Correct me if I am wrong, but going back over the last several years of Erollisi Day recipes I found:
    • Food items use artistry/culinary via the stove & keg
    • Flora items use geocraft/geomancy via the work bench
    • Building blocks use sculpting/craftsmanship via woodworking table
    • Fabric items use sculpting/craftsmanship via the sewing table
    • Metal items use sculpting/craftsmanship via the work bench
Is something out of place? Is this not consistent?

Let me know what you find. I may have to do some editing.

I guess it just seems more noticeable this year since there were 15 items using sculpting, 1 using artistry (missed it the first time through) and 2 using geocraft. It is still pretty inconsistent overall to have everything but the flora using class-specific stuff, and those using all-class stuff, but it is at least consistently inconsistent. Does that make sense? :D

Every one that I could find was level 104^^^ or 105^^^ heroic. My level 100 Test warden, halfway through the sig line, 5975 potency, 205 resolve, and her merc, couldn't make much of a dent in them. I suspect that even if I could, using my live server warden with ascension abilities, etc., there'd be a faction hit involved, which is troublesome for adventurers that want stuff from the faction merchant. Definitely not worth it for a fluff title. ;D

Perhaps a gooblin candy instead if you want another that can only be done in the expansion? (In the Dalnir's instances, including the solo.)

More nigglies: a) not everyone has ponies yet (even store-bought first toons at 95 start at 1 Tradeskill), so yeah, 150 is a bit much; and b) won't newb low-level Good toons get slaughtered by the guards around Hate's Envy? Will the quest giver even talk to them? :-/

I ADORE the idea of the cut-out building blocks! :D

I'd love to see more of them at every tier, for each wood/stone type, placed in our regular recipe books for each tier as they come up. Heck, make 1 book for each tier with just those sorts of recipes, that any Carpenter of that level can get, right then (add them to the regular Essential recipe sales people, or even the Loyalty Merchants); it'd still be more recipes in one book than many of the ones we have nowadays per level in the lower tiers. ;->

There are no attack-capable guards in/around Hate's Envy. There are a couple with "Guard" in the name, but they are non-combat NPCs. Mobs between the druid rings and Hate's Envy (which is a newbie starter area) are level 10 and lower, with one or two pathing guards that are *easily* avoidable.

The quest NPC has no concerns about giving out quests to anyone who walks up to her. Faction isn't a worry to her, running out of ingredients is.

Logged in this AM to check things out. Working on Love Lines, and noticed that the reward candles all look the same in the preview window. Just a white single candle. No floating hearts, that I saw.

Great idea! I'll switch out the achievement and the loot Liannya is looking for to be gooblin instead of Cae'Dal.

I was going to tell you that I don't know what I was thinking when I put in a Cae'Dal candy, but that's not true... I was thinking, 'I've got a great pun for them!' That was pretty much it. Oh, well. I think I've got a good one for the gooblins now, too.

    Thank you!

Just a reminder Kaitheel last year you said your looking into making the shield available as a housing idem
well we still can't hang it on the wall right or can we ?
I don't know might have missed something.
  19. Niami DenMother Well-Known Member

I'd forgotten about that! I thought it was fixed partway through the event, but I just went and bought another one (had dropped the one from last year into my wardrobe already :O) and it doesn't convert, so I guess it never happened.
